Best fried chicken! Extra crispy but light, order half soy,sweet and hot. Fried rice, pickled radish and Cole slaw will cool your pallet. 8 wings goes along way, large portions.

I shared the medium half-and-half combo with a friend. It came with 8 wings and 4 drumsticks total! The flavors are savory and strong and the chicken was juicy; overall I had an enjoyable experience! The pickled radish also provided the perfect balance to the chicken!

My family’s go-to for korean fried chicken. Soy garlic strips and wings are always fresh and tasty. They have lunch specials which makes it a better deal. Always ask for extra sauce in your chicken. Love their coleslaw and fries too!

This was my first time to BonChon. I ordered a lunch chicken strip meal with fries. The waitress warned me that their “spicy” may be too hot for the average new customer. I found the heat for their “spicy” to be medium and very good. What may not be reflected in other reviews is that the fries are excellent. I will return when I am in the area.

Although I love the food (specifically the soy garlic fried wings and the fried rice) the staff is what really makes this place stand out. I forgot my servers name (so sorry) but he was attentive, entertaining and was extremely helpful when it came to suggestions. I plan to return to this location often! Delicious chicken katsu and coleslaw can’t forget about the fries. While eating the food I noticed eye brow on the chicken katsu strip, but overall food was great. Got half and half wing lunch combo and the wings drums lunch combo. Wings drums combo lacked the spicy sauce so I was just eating a 1/2 covered not saucy wing. My drumstick was also literally burnt to a crisp. Got charged $1 per sauce because I ordered from takeout online while they offer it free in store and free if you call by phone (I ordered online) honestly have had some good experiences here in the past but this one was garbage.

Walked in and a mad looking lady came to greet us. She asked if we were going to eat in and we answered that we wanted to eat outside. She said that it was take out, they didn’t send servers outside and walked away from us. We looked around found the menu on the desk by the entrance. Finally when we were ready I had to wave someone to help. Finally a young man came in but same blank face. I placed the order and went outside with my family. We were half way through our chicken combo when we spotted a black hair on one of the wings. I came in to complain. It was hard to see the hair in there, God known how many people have eaten the employees hair and we found it. Of course the mad dog face lady helped me and she said that it was from the chicken, I told her that chicken don’t have black hair. She went back to the kitchen and came back and said nothing as she went on her marry in doing whatever she was doing. I asked her, aren’t you going to tell me what’s going on. She said, they are replacing the chicken for you. I told her I wanted to get refund from this chicken. She said that they could not do it, I took it but threw in the trash. I never had any problems in the Bonchons in Virginia, they have always been courteous and no hair on their food. I am disappointed. You should hire people with a better attitude and better hygiene. I am going to talk to the health department of Montgomery County.
