I was looking for a vegan restaurant. Tried this Ethiopian family owned restaurant. Food is extremely tasty and healthy. The use of oil is minimal. After eating here, I feel one does not need lot of oil, butter or spices to make food tasty. Love the place. I will return soon.

Ate dinner there with two of my friends, the food was quite good but the service was exceptional. Very homey, smaller dining area gave a nice atmosphere. The owner was exceedingly kind, even letting us stay several minutes past closing as we chatted and had tea.

Quaint little place serving up some authentic Ethiopian and Eritrean food. Very reasonably priced. Be warned that the meals usually come in one giant platter and everyone eats from it.

Excellent food, small dining area with nice decor. I had a dish I have not seen before and it was excelent Yater Kik Fitfit which contained split peas and enjera, it was one of my favorites to date. The sambusas were excellent as well.

I came super early in the afternoon. There were two delightful children playing and the sounds of a toddler and an infant to me were like music to my ears. It conveyed a sense of family, and to me, therefore, trust.

This was my first time ever having Ethiopian food and this place exceeded my anticipation!! I ate the food too quick to even take a picture. The meat and sides were all so flavorful and the blend of spices was unlike anything I’ve had before (and I’ve had a lot of food! ) My boyfriend and I split a main dish and added 3 veggie sides and both of us left full, with our total only coming out to $25 !!!? Our waiter seemed to be manning the front of house and cooking in the back, yet was still so kind and as attentive as possible. Obviously very hard working. Will definitely be back!

We got there 20 minutes before closing time and asked the owners if they’ll still serve us or if it’s too late. They allowed us in and went out of there way to give us the best service, even after closing time. The food was incredible and was accompanied by some of the best homemade bread I’ve ever had. It’s all reasonably priced, and there are many vegan and vegetarian options. This restaurant deserves so much attention for its great food and amazing service. Will definitely come back.

This is a great restaurant. If you like Ethiopian and Eritrean food, you will find this is one of the very best. If you are new to this type of food, this is a great place to try something wonderful. The injera bread is so delicate. The presentation of food was gorgeous and we loved everything. We had the vegan combination for dinner and it was a delicious. Highly, highly recommended. Try the authentic Ethiopian coffee (buna) service. The breakfast menu looks fun and we will try it next time. Call ahead to reserve a table!

First experience trying Ethiopian food and was not disappointed. Wait staff was really helpful in describing and suggesting food items (since I really had no idea what I was ordering). Our group decided to go family style with big plates – be prepared to dive in and eat with your hands. Delicious, spicy, authentic. Can’t ask for much more.
