Ann and I attended a mushroom dinner recently featuring locally foraged mushrooms in every course. Chef Jeremy created a spectacular meal with his unique combination of aesthetics, textures and flavors, followed by Joe’s bittersweet chocolate mushroom cake as the grand finale. Ben and Molly from Pink Teepee Farm provided the mushrooms and shared their extensive mushroom knowledge with the guests. As always, Joe, Penny, and the entire BHM crew provided stellar service for an outstanding evening.

An incredibly special experience! This was a perfect venue for a private, celebratory dinner with close friends. Chef Jeremy’s late winter menu was amazing. Joe and Penny were gracious and wonderful hosts and Joe’s chocolate tart to finish the evening left everyone talking. We would highly recommend Brick House Mercantile for a casual visit or a special occasion dinner!

The brunch on Saturday mornings is a must-try, especially the shrub-mosas (mimosas). The food is carefully crafted and unique, offering something new each visit. The take-home options are also great for those on the go. Attended one of their artisan dinners 3/31/2022 with friends. We had an excellent experience. Very inviting atmosphere, relaxing dining pace and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Loved the timing of each course. My beverage was never empty! Best restaurant SERVICE I’ve had in a long time. The chef (Jeremy) did a great job describing each dish and happily (as well as Penny and Joe) answered our many questions about the ingredients and preparation. So interesting. We left full and had a chance to purchase some of their delicious retail items as well. Looking forward to our next dining experience with them.
