Enjoyed 1st time visiting Walter steakhouse. Seated right away. Friendly staff. Samantha our waitress was great! And covered 5+ tables. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing with jazz station playing in the background with dim lights and candles lit at each table. Liked when guest left they changed table setting with clean white table cloths etc. Food took a bit to come out but was worth the wait. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Different cheesesteak #1112 in the last five years. Monday night special $12 Prime Rib Sandwich. I paid the $1 for cheese and $2.99 for the twice baked potato. Summer Shandy drafts were $5. Walter’s has a great old Steak House vibe. The prime rib was pretty darn close to melting in my mouth. The horseradish sauce added great flavor to everything it touched. $17 ($22 if you get 2 drafts) for a very good meal in a very nice place. Winner, winner, prime rib dinner. I will be back to try the rest of their dinner specials.

I visited Walters with my nephew for his and my birthday. You have to park across the street. The inside is bigger than I expected. The food was very good and my dessert was great. Obviously you have to get a steak. I got a twice baked potato, and it was delicious. I also really enjoyed my spinach and goat cheese strawberry salad.

Walter’s never disappoints!! We stopped in yesterday evening for dinner without a reservation. The hostess was very kind and looked at her schedule to see if we could be squeezed in…Ultimately she offered us a booth up front. Out meal was fantastic and our waiter was perfect! Such a great night out and if I didn’t mention it… The meal was A+. Tender steaks… Fresh salads with the best house dressing… and delicious warm baked bread!! Yummy…

Although the food was excellent the service and atmosphere for me was not. As an African American woman I expect to have a delicious dining experience as well as a culinary one. This was not expected and had I known that this was the overall consensus of this establishment I would have spent my time and money elsewhere! The three stars represent the food which was great….. I cannot give five stars to an establishment that still has antiquated attitudes towards different cultures. I truly would have appreciated a candid review that would have been helpful to me

Was treated to dinner here by a family friend for Mother’s Day. It was a great experience with good food. Delicious wine and excellent service. After dinner though I left feeling like the price was not worth the quality / amount of food. Just not enough for me to go back here on my own accord.

Very few places surprise me for the good these days. This was my first time trying this place. Ordered the fat burger. EXCELLENT!! The fries amazing..no sign of grease anywhere. Priced nicely for todays environment.
