Big Al’s Southern Dining BBQ was good and the staff were very kind and courteous. The waitress was one of the best and made sure we had everything we needed. The owner/chef came out to check on us and was very kind.

So are at Big Al’s for the second time today. Wow it was just as good if not better than the first time. I do recommend the Banana Pudding as a desert. I usually don’t like restaurant banana pudding do to it being made with jello pudding mix and just blah. Theirs today was beyond excellent and homemade. Big thank you to everyone that works there for serving up some awesome food.

Big Al’s is a hidden gem! Momma D is just the sweetest little lady I ever did meet, and her whole family working there are all so nice. Her home-made old-fashion recipes (like grandma used to make), are simply the best! Her son Al is always in the kitchen cooking up her delicious foods, and he’s such a nice guy, even after working so hard all day long! I haven’t tasted southern food this good, since I was a kid! It might be a little hole in the wall place, but it’s definitely worth the wait, so get in line and just wait it out….for the best food you’ve had since…who knows when!!! Of course, you can always call in orders and go pick them up, if you are not inclined to wait in line.

I just picked up a BBQ plate from their food truck in front of Tractor Supply in Boiling Springs. The plate included pulled pork, smoked sausage, cole slaw, potato salad, and a bun. The food was delicious! I look forward to visiting their restaurant!
