It may not look like much, but the food and service here… 5 star! The catfish is some of the best I’ve ever had. Crispy batter with a slight kick, moist fish inside, and the coleslaw is wonderful. Thank you for the delicious meal and friendly, quick, service.

Updated review 5.18.23 – we just keep coming back! This time tried the burgers….the meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and well seasoned. Lots of lettuce, fresh tomatoes and pickles. French fries and fried okra rounded out this little lunch and both were crunchy and well seasoned. Come by and try this place!!!

Found this place by chance and I most definitely will go back!! The gentleman working the register was very polite and helpful and the fish was perfect!! I can’t wait to try some of their other foods! Go ahead and call in your order cause they make it fresh when you order so if you eat there and order there expect 10-15 min wait for the food..but it is well worth the wait!

Went by for supper with my better half and it was great. The lady that took our order was very welcoming and informative. I got the 3 piece catfish filets with some sliced jalapeños for the coleslaw and she got the 2 piece catfish filets. The fish was cooked perfectly with a real good cornmeal batter. We’ll be back for more.

This is really a hidden gem in Lubbock! It is out of the way, but we’ll worth the trip. We went once on a Wednesday. Food was amazing! Their catfish has a little bit of kick to it! It is not really spicy to the taste but there is definitely some spice there. We went again on a Saturday and was not so impressed. The dining room was shut down 2 hours before the sign on the door. We were offered the drive through. When we ordered, we were told that the sides had already been put away. We received the meals that we ordered, complete with sides. The food was still very good!

The customer service is amazing! I watched an older lady struggle getting to her car. The young man that took our order picked her up and carried her to her car!!! And the catfish!! The best I’ve had in a long time!!!

We have tried numerous fish places around town and they all were under-seasoned or uses nuggets and not fillets. Broadway Fish $ More has the best catfish fillets in town that are well seasoned and always has that perfect crunch. Coleslaw and fries are excellent as well. Staff has always been polite and meals come out hot and delicious. Highly recommend!

Really good. First time eating. Batter was crispy and spicy but the fish was nice and fluffy inside. A little spicy but still good. Even the Cole slaw was good although I don’t really eat it. Could’ve given a little bit more coleslaw though. Coke was really good too. Will definitely be back.

We had the smothered pork chops dinner with collard greens, mac & cheese, and candied yams. The food was good. The yams were more casserole than traditional. Also tried the hot lemon pepper wings which were OUTSTANDING! Freshly cooked, fried perfectly, and seasoned well!
