I went to this fabulous restaurant for the first time today and I had a pleasant experience. I’m new to the area and wanted some good soul food and I was not disappointed. The customer service was awesome and the food is so good! I got the oxtails over rice with yams, collards, and the hoecake cornbread. I’m still licking my fingers and the food is gone! I also got the strawberry peach lemonade and it is sooooo good!!! Omg it’s so refreshing! I will be back for another delicious meal soon.

Amazing food and amazing customer service! I didn’t even have my plate for 5 minutes you guys definitely have me as a long time customer! Oh and the lemonade puts you in a trance. I need it in a jug immediately lol

Hunni BJ’s has been open for two months. They offer daily specials along with regular priced menu items. I ordered Curried Chicken over vegetable rice with a side order of okra. You can order white rice or their vegetable rice. The veggie rice is delicious . Also ordered was fried chicken and fries with a dinner roll. For dessert we had key lime cake….. OMG so good. I’m not a frosting person but this cream cheese frosting is fantastic! Fried fish dinners are served on Fridays. The owners are personable and very good cooks. The restroom is clean.

Our first time here and the food was really good! Great variety and portion sizes wee huge. Enough for leftovers. Wife had turkey wings, greens, peas, and yams. I had smothered chicken and cabbage. I highly recommend this place for true and delicious soul food!!!! You will not be disappointed. We will be back frequently.

Went for the first time and everything was excellent! I got the jerk chicken (tender and spiced perfect) with green beans and tomatoes with okra (so good!). I look forward to trying other dishes in the future.
