Best Jamaican restaurant in Indiana, excited thing’s it is HALAL, beef ribs melting in the mouth, and curry goat has a little fusion with an African flavor, the owner is a really a gentleman, he introduced us himself with his signature dish jerk chicken and 100% Ginger bear on the house, atmosphere kinda Jamaican vibe, nice clean, would love to come again again..

The jerk chicken lunch is my go to every week. It’s incredible. A dish as simple as his yellow rice is even delicious. The flavors are just right to me. The owner is also a great guy, as if the food wasn’t enough! I’ve had the ribs as well and they don’t disappoint.

Absolutely loved the food. This place offers African and Jamaican dishes. For instance get Jerk Chicken or Ribs along with Jollif rice. Super clean. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Im already making plans to return.

Words fail to express just how delicious all his dishes are. I hope these photos help you understand…. I have never had such flavorful beef ribs that are so tender, the meat just falls off the bones.

I am rating them in terms of service, cleaniness, ambiance, and authenticity. The service was perfect, the waitress was very professional and nice. She knows all the items on the menu. I have not used their restrooms, but the restaurant is well ventilated and and clean. The silverware and glasses were cleaned. The place is nicely decorated and you can enjoy your meal while listening to some nice afro beats. In term of authenticity, there is still a lot of improvement. They have substituted many of the main ingredients of the Senegalese dishes, which reduced the authenticity of the dishes that I have ordered. Also, thought the dishes were not so fresh. They tasted like something that was made 2 or 3 days ago and were reheated.

My daughters and I absolutely love this place. I had the Chicken Curry which was deliciously spicy, filling and was very large in size. Looking forward to seconds later. My eldest had the Goat with jollof rice and plantains, and she really enjoyed it. I had to stop myself from taking plantains off her plate, they were so good! My youngest is a toddler who just wanted French fries, and the kind gentleman who owns the store put some fries in the oven for her before we even sat down, and gave her quarters after the meal for gumballs when I couldn’t find any in my wallet. Very much appreciated, and I highly recommend this place and always will.

The owner is extremely nice and hardworking. The place is also clean. The food was really good! I ordered the grilled goat with plantain and it was great. There may be a wait of maybe 30 minutes if you want to dine in depending on how busy they are because the owner takes orders, answers the phone, and cooks the food so please be patient when you go there. Overall it was a great experience.

I came in and got the oxtails. Ive never had them before. It reminded me of pot roast. It was very delicious! Very tasty. Small restaurant with plenty of seating. The owner came out and had a conversation with us. He was very nice and personable. Also offered another food suggestion for next time. I will be back to try other things on the menu.
