I stopped here as the restaurant was open late and I was traveling to Buffalo NY so it was on the way. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and a drink. Both food and service was excellent. When I was done eating I went to the counter and asked for more ice so I can take it with me and drink in the car and as the gentleman was giving me back the cup with more ice he asked me if I want some beef quesadillas as someone did not pick them up and they were going to be thrown away. So I took 2 of the 6. I have one away at a rest area I stopped at later as I couldn’t eat them both. Nice place and nice people!

I know nowadays that the economy sucks. But this place is pretty expensive for what it is in my opinion. We ordered three soft shell tacos and a Super Fry’s didn’t do It for me. Came up to almost $17 after 50% off on their anniversary. That’s ridiculous. Look like a blob of whatever on a bunch of french fries. Didn’t look as good as the picture that’s for sure. I’m on a fixed budget. Don’t think I’ll be able to afford to go back there until the next anniversary. Take care and be safe people. These are my opinions

Huge helpings, reasonably quick service. Prices are higher than the run of the mill taco fast food establishment, but lower than a nice sit down restaurant. Food was decent, workers were helpful and courteous. Be warned: this is not the kind of food to eat while driving

Pulled in at 5:30pm Saturday, I was the only vehicle in the drive thru. I just was craving a taco, got the carne asada taco. I waited at the window for several minutes before it arrived, and I would have waited longer! Parked in the truck and smashed. The taco was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh, piled high with pico and guac, loaded with a lot of tender well seasoned meat.

Stopped for the first time and tried their smothered beef tongue and hate to say it but it was the most disgusting burrito I have ever had! The burrito was literally swimming in sauce and salty and the meat was extremely fatty to say the least! Don’t think I will be stopping at any of their locations any time soon. Ended up throwing it away!

Not saying it was bad but it just felt like a very bland and ordinary Mexican food experience. I felt that while eating here that it was just a worse knockoff of De leons but was more expensive. I had a steak egg burrito and my girlfriend had the enchiladas and both agreed it was just pretty alright Mexican. Her food wasn’t very fresh like mine. Come at your own discretion, not a lot of seating so take out might just be better.

I honestly wasn’t fully convinced when first ordering that the food wasn’t going to be authentically good just because im from Miami and have tasted authentic Mexican food. I was wrong to doubt this restaurant. The food was delicious, fresh, and overall good quality. Super great place for a quick bite of Mexican food! I love that they still have their salsa bar open after covid. Some of the best salsas I’ve ever had. They have quite the variety of menu options so there is something for everyone! The Iowa burrito is my favorite.

There are too many things to compliment about this location but here are the highlights. Hard shell carnitas tacos are amazing. Moist, tender, and full of flavor, everything you want in a taco. Chicken hard shell taco is good as well but if you are on the fence go for the carnitas. Solid salsa verde, inexpensive chili relleno’s, delicious fried flour chicken taco, and excellent customer service to boot! If you still are hungry after your meal (and even if your not) order a churro or fried cheesecake chimichanga, you wont regret it. Will definitely be back, maybe too much.
