Excellent cuisine! The Thursday special was slow cooked beef short ribs which were excellent and appetizer was bacon wrapped scallops which are always amazing. Highly recommend. Another visit we had beef short rib pasta which was delicious and the strip steak with mash potatoes and veggies. Huge portion sizes! Also came with soup or salad. The cream of mushroom soup is divine!

We went here on a double date and had a great time! We made reservations and we were seated as soon as we checked in! We ordered the cheesy garlic bread as an app, yummy! This was valentines weekend and they had a special menu. Great drink options! I had the Chicken Caprese(pic). It was very good and the special salad was worth the up charge! Over all a great place to try! Everyone in our party had a great meal and a good time! The service was also very good!

I stopped between slices to write this because the pizza is AMAZING!! Just wow. I consider myself a Rockford Pizza guy, and this has to be almost the best pizza in town. Fresh cheese, the sauce is amazing, big floppy slices, the pepperoni is spicy and perfect. First time ordering from Pomodoros, won’t be my last!!!

All the food that we ordered was really poor. Sandwiches had way too much bread and there wasn’t near enough stuff on the bun. No sauce or anything to add any flavor. Fries were generic. Service was good. The bar was packed so the drinks must be ok.

Mixed bag. I really wanted to like this place. First off, it’s nice inside and we were there when it was really slow. The service was exceptional. They treated us like we were the only people there (:D). We had the Arancini balls, which are lightly breaded/fried rice balls with cheese inside, in a tomato sauce setting with graded cheese. Really good. My Bloody Mary was great too. I ordered the Chicken Caprese, which was not good. I’m normally not overly picky, so this is hard for me to type. It was rubbery and somewhat tough. My wife blamed it on “how the chickens were raised”, and that’s why she only buys certain brands of chicken. My counter was that the restaurant should have the same intel and know where to buy good chicken. This is an upscale restaurant, so I would expect that is a given. The grilled vegetables and other ingredients were tasty, but overall this dish was a flop.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Rockford! Their pizzas are New York style. 18 inchers with huge slices. Absolutely delicious with fresh dough. Their hamburger was also among the best I’ve had in town. It’s clean and has a nice atmosphere. The waitresses are full of personality and are very attentive. Nothing bad to say about this place. They also have a local IPA from the brewery across the street which pairs wonderfully with the pizza. Kid friendly with their own children’s menu.
