This place was a random find while I was out running errands and wow, what a gem. The food is absolutely delicious; I had their beef and Al Pastor tacos with their house salsa and sides of their habanero hot sauce, all of which were top notch. The décor is really cute as well, and the service was very polite and pleasant. Would absolutely recommend.

Beuna Fe, a quaint hidden gem until you discover how tasty it is and become frequent patron! Great menu variety & tasting food. I love their steak tacos with refried beans and rice. The steak is tender and spicy and served with cilantro, onions, lime and salsa. Also, be sure to try their pupusas. My favorite is the pumpkin and cheese pupusa. The prices are very reasonable too.

Buena Fe has been recommended to me by numerous people since I moved to Oak Park. I finally got the opportunity to dine in, and I was not disappointed. The fresh salsa was good, the enchiladas were delicious as were the steak tacos. They were very busy and understaffed on a Friday night but we still received quality service and our server was very nice. If you’re looking for something different, try the pupusas! The prices are very reasonable too! We’ll be back!

Good food. But lunchtime service is really slow. Just order farther in advance than you would most places and you’ll be happy with it. The tamales are off the charts good, biggest tamales I’ve ever seen.

OMG! This place is sooo good! The guac (see pic) is amazing and I’m not a fan of guac typically. I got the chicken fajitas (pic) and loved them. Alexandra was a super-nice server. Too bad I don’t live in the area.
