Our primary ingredients are sourced through a non-commodified supply chain–people, families and workers that share a similar ethos and values to our own. Each day we will serve freshly ground Michigan Craft Beef which is antibiotic/hormone free and produced entirely in Michigan (Zeeland and Ontonagon). Our buns are baked fresh daily just down the street at Common Good Bakery.. Their recipe pair perfectly with all of our signature burgers. With our shakes, we are proud to support local dairy by exclusively using fresh Moo-Ville one-source creamery ice cream. Don’t forget our hand-cut fries!!

Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The attention to detail is incredible. Fries were incredible as well. Burgers are perfectly cooked for the style and the toppings are great. They’ve got a large beer selection and make excellent milkshakes too. All of that and the space is absolutely adorable. Definitely a place I’ll visit again and again when I visit Traverse City.

Burgers were alright – we got the Proper, Terlingua, and two El Padres. All kind of ended up tasting about the same with slight differences. Patties are thiccc and nice to see that it was local beef. Nice plus that you get a bag of free chips with burger order – Great Lakes Chips at that! Garlic Parmesan Fries had a little bit too much garlic for our liking. Didn’t realize that the garlic was fresh and not in seasoning form. Note that the serving size as large! An order of fries fed a family of four adults.

Quite possibly the best hamburger I have ever eaten. I am 6’3″ 320lbs, so I’ve eaten a few burgers in my day. Fries were also delicious and well seasoned. I will return every single time I visit Traverse City.

Stopped in this little place before taking my kids to the Civic Center playground around the corner. Leslie was amazing and made us feel at home. They accommodated my kids’ weird requests (burger-with-nothing for my son; patty-with-only-cheese for my daughter) and gave both of them free chocolate chip cookies. My burger was delicious, and the canned craft beer selection was great. Would recommend!

Burgers are the absolute best anywhere. Turkey and veggie burgers are available. No kids menu but two can split a burger or the grilled cheese is also tasty and big portion. The staff was super helpful in explaining menu. Order of fries is huge! Outdoor seating and filling water glasses from a hose brought a smile to my granddaughter’s face.

Loved this place. The burgers are amazing! I had the proper burger my girlfriend had the oakwood. Both were so good! Really like the proper sauce! Also had the parm garlic frys super good. The couple running this place were some of the nicest people and very friendly. We will definitely be back. Thank you for taking time for getting to know us also. Not much room to sit and eat but this is a must try. !!

Great burger and some of the best fries I have ever eaten. They have a bunch of specialty burgers to choose from, or you can make your own. They also have several different flavors of fries. I had parmasian garlic, and they are definitely a must. Great place to grab lunch if you are in Traverse City.
