This place is great! There was no problem finding a table and the wait was no more than 3 minutes despite the place being busy. The veggie quiche was served wrapped within minutes (I hadn’t turned my laptop on yet) and it was delicious. But the staff – oh the staff! So kind! Pleasant surprise – this was the best iced mocha (almond milk) that I have ever had! I am just delighted!

I got the Spiced Cafe Au Lait. It was so good! And my husband got the Americano. My daughter got the kids hot chocolate and she was done with it in no time! Loved the aesthetics and music on too. Service was great!

Great coffee shop. The coffee is good, not burnt at all. Tastes great.

The atmosphere, the service, and the community outreach they do is all excellent. I love that a small, locally owned business is thriving and serving the community, so I truly do not wish to tear them down, just give some constructive criticism that is necessary to hear. I understand being in a college town, it is probably difficult to find long-term employees, but the product is so inconsistent. I can get the same drink two days apart and it will be completely different. The food and bakery items are also just not good. Every pastry I have gotten has been virtually inedible. They are still a new business, and with more training and time I think they can improve in these areas.

Slippery Rock really needed the local coffee shop atmosphere that Rooster’s provides. The espresso tastes like none other and they have a great variety of teas, sodas, and signature drinks. Their baked goods are made in house and are fresh every time. Highly recommend the maple shaken espresso for a nice fall drink, and a blueberry or raspberry muffin any day of the week.

A great atmosphere to come for studying/work. Came here 2 days in a row while we were in town to meet with people and get work done. Their drinks are good too, lots of options for coffee/tea/soda and others, as well as pastries and lunch options too. Highly recommend, and there’s plenty of room unlike most coffee shops

The atmosphere of this coffee shop is so unique – there’s so much attention to detail put into everything. The drinks are excellent – I’ve had the iced lavender latte, the espresso affogato and the butterbeer float. The staff is so friendly and helpful explaining any questions I have about the menu. The baked goods are also delicious! Dreaming about the oatmeal raisin cookie as I type this review. If you’re looking for great coffee, check out this coffee bar – you will not be disappointed!
