I give it 4 stars because it didn’t exceed expectations for a bar. They do have a wide selection on their menu, and we liked the food we got – didn’t love it. Service was a little slow, as to why, I can’t say… one of our orders was also placed incorrectly. By the time we would’ve corrected it, everyone else would’ve been done eating. But, as long as you expect bar food and bar service, you’ll not be disappointed.

The guy at the door was awesome, but he was the only redeeming quality of the experience. Abysmal service. I ordered the fish sandwich, and it was mediocre at best. The coleslaw tasted like last year’s. Some people at my table liked their food, but it took us about two hours to get in and out. Avoid.

We play trivia here on Tuesday nights. After our favorite waitress, Nikki, left, we seriously considered going elsewhere. Service wasn’t good, it took nearly the whole night to get our food, it was crowded… But then, a couple weeks ago we met Taylor. She was our waitress and she renewed my faith in The Basement. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. She is literally the only reason we’re still coming to trivia. Keep her around, yeah?

Worst service I think I’ve had in years. The bartender was barely present physically and mentally and was too preoccupied chatting with other employees and her friends to care. The food was OK. The sampler platter is good for the price. There’s other places you can go in the same area with better food and service if you’re willing to pay for it. I just moved into the apartments in the same parking lot and don’t think I’ll be back here often. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else.

Service dreadful. One drink. Placed order and waited 50 minutes. No food ever came. No service for another drink. This is the 3rd time with horrific service. Understaffed and more concerned with Singo players who had pitchers of water on the table. I won’t go there again. They are doomed being understaffed and obviously not paying attention to customers. Bye! Go elsewhere…..it’s not worth it.

The pepperoni burnt cheese foldovers and funnel cake fries are to die for! Both were very unique! The service is good but the kitchen is kinda slow if you’re in a hurry. (Which we weren’t) Only been there twice but it’s on it’s way to being one of our favorites!

Me and my family usually come here when we come into town to visit. Each time they have accommodated all of us as a walk in and there’s at least 10-11 of us every time. But this most recent time was phenomenal. Christian, the Chef, offered to make us some free appetizers that weren’t on the menu. Trial apps if you will. Elephant Ears, a fresh Tomato Basil Flatbread, and a “Pierogi-like” dish. All three of these dishes were AMAZING. The Elephant Ear was the best we had ever had and we’re better than fair ones. The flatbread was extremely fresh. It felt like a home dish because of how fresh it was. And me personally, I don’t like any sorts of pizzas or even tomatoes and I ate the hell out of this flatbread. The pierogi-like dish was so soft and tricked your mind into thinking it was pierogis. Christian needs some recognition man. He even offered more!! This guy needs some recognition, a raise, and to get these items on the menu because of how good they were. Amazing!
