Reservation was for 6:30pm, we were greeted with smiles and taken straight to a table when we walked in. Ordered salad, steak, and potatoes. Someone brought over bread and plates then Taylor took our order. She was nice and stayed in tune to our needs the entire dinner. Food was cooked perfect and it was flavorful.

After hearing mixed reviews I was completely prepared to NOT be wowed… BUT that was not the case. Start with when I walked in the atmosphere and decor was clean and classy. We walked to the hostess counter, we did have to wait because there was no one there but the wait was not too long before someone showed up and seated us at a table. The table again was classy and clean. Our waitress showed up very quickly to take our drink and appetizer order. We started with two diet Cokes, the lump crab cakes and wild game experience. The crabcakes were OK but I wouldn’t order them again. The wild game experience was amazing. First time I’ve ever had elk and it was delicious! Then we had the 6oz center cut fillet with parmesan risotto, sautéed asparagus, and steak fries. I’ve never had risotto so I tried that it was OK again not some thing I would order again. This asparagus good and the fries well they were fries. The first bite of my steak, there are no words to describe just how amazing, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned the steak was. It was so good that we ordered another 6 ounce each. (FYI Tuesday nights they have a buy one get one free – 6 ounce fillet. Normally $39.99 each but that night it’s $39.99 for 2) if you are a steak lover this is a must try!

Service was good and restaurant atmosphere was good. Party of 3 had the wild game experience appetizer and the filet I had should have been an excellent cut of meat but had a couple of spots that weren’t edible and the new york strip another in our party ordered he was only able to eat about half and did not request a box to take with him. Sides are all additional, and the $10 baked potato was good with the steak but overall the food quality seemed to fall short on the steak side, which I would have thought would have been the highlight.

We opt our reservation to eat at the Bar it was worth it. The drink master Jason was too funny and keep us laughing. He recommended dessert ( carmal cake- which is to die for warm and hum=hum + good) the old saying, you pay for what you eat. I enjoyed my bday and making memories. Yes, l will be back!
