I’m disappointed because we only eat out once a week, so I try to choose very carefully. I really regret choosing Yoshi Express tonight. The fried chicken was over-battered and over-fried (see pic of the thick, hard batter). It was barely edible. We also ordered bbq corn for $6. I was expecting more than just one ear of corn cut in half for that price.

Absolutely satisfied food quality is fantastic. Store is calm and clean. Owner is friendly and informative. Prices are reasonable. We order to many items but our bill was very small and affordable. Owner offered free hot tea, definitely recommend.

Don’t be fooled by the previous reviews. I ordered the tonkatsu curry and the beef bulgogi plates and they were both disgustingly sweet and overwhelmingly sour. The curry’s flavor profile was more sweet than anything, the bulgogi was more sour than anything. There was no savory element to the dishes at all. The tonkotsu pork was tough and chewy, and the crispy layer was limp and soft. The rice and even the salad dressing was overly sweet. It was all severely underseasoned in the flavors that mattered, and felt like a bowl of corn syrup pretending to be a meal.
