Long Island natives bringing Two Brothers Pizzeria to Smyrna.
If you’re looking for a pizzeria in Smyrna, there’s going to be a new option next month.
Two Brothers Pizzeria is set to open by mid-April at 291 Sam Ridley Parkway near the corner of Weakley Lane.
“We will be serving New York-style pizza,” said Jose Garcia, who owns the restaurant with his brother, Oscar Garcia.
The Long Island, New York, natives relocated their families to Smyrna last year and didn’t find a pizzeria that reminded them of home.
“So we decided to try to do New York-style pizza here,” said Garcia, who managed a pizzeria in New York for 12 years while his brother operated a bar. “Everybody likes pizza and I feel like that’s something you eat and it’s good.

I’ve visited Two Brothers twice over the last week and both visits were great. The gentleman who works in the dining room is very nice, keeps your drinks filled and attends to you as needed.

Bought a whole pizza and some seafood pasta. The pizza was really good, the crust was crispy at the bottom and everything was fresh! The seafood pasta had ricotta cream sauce with shrimp, scallops and crab meat. Their menu is vast! So many choices, we will have to come again. They got a Mexican menu that’s not on their actual menu.

Recently visited this establishment to try something new, and let me tell you, I won’t be back. Food was bland, drinks were not carbonated, and it overall was gross. I bite or two from my food, and instantly regretted it. My stomach immediately started to hurt and I had to run to the bathroom. I asked for the manager and voiced my concerns about my food and drinks. He was very rude, and tried to argue with me about the food. Let’s just say he was not a person who should be working in customer service. I wish I could give no stars. If you don’t want to get sick, don’t go here!

This food is good, just not great. You will pay a higher than average price for the food here. I expect there to be taste. I’m not saying the food here is bad by any means. It’s just not great. I found the food to be bland and extremely under seasoned. The presentation was wonderful and I was really excited to eat my food when I saw it. Unfortunately, the excitement died when I tasted the food. It was disappointing. I will more than likely not return here again. First impressions do mean something when you are paying higher prices.

This place is worth trying! They make their pizzas fresh and have a very wide variety of Italian and Hispanic food. Admittedly, the staff need to be more welcoming as soon as you walk in. I have seen people walk in and when not addressed within a minute walk out. Hold your horses, wait for seating, and enjoy something different in town 🙂 Also, portions are large! A personal sized pizza is what you would expect a medium sized pizza to be, so don’t over order. The prices are a bit more than you would expect for say an appetizer, but you get a lot of food.

The staff answered every question I had, the cook even made the Calzone larger than normal since I eat a lot of food, then when I wasn’t full he, got a single slice for me and told me it was on the house since the calzone wasn’t big enough for me. Note the normal calzone is big enough for someone who eats a normal amount of food. Great service, very friendly, and good food.

After reading several glowing reviews I finally gave this place a try. I went basic and had the Pepperoni Roll and my boyfriend had the Fettuccine Di Mare.

My family and I have been to this restaurant several times, mostly for the pizza, but in the past, I have ordered meals, I know Italian food…..with that said, they were horrible !! My pasta was drenched in sauce, and pasta was overcooked, and tried it again , same bad experience, had salad, and dressing was drenched as well, which made it un edible! Also our drinks, which were soda had a bad taste, as if it was flat, but syrupy…. Place needs cleaning, was your windows! I will not be coming back

In the last month I have had penne alla vodka in the theatre district of NYC, in the Italian Village or NYC , and in the North End of Boston. The dish at 2 Brothers was my favorite by far. It’s the best I have ever had.

The waitress was very nice. This review is about the food. I’m Italian. Not an Italian restaurant at all so don’t be fooled. The food was bland. The mozzarella sticks were not traditional Italian. We ordered a large pizza. Half Hawaiian and half chicken bacon ranch. The Hawaiian half was ok. The other half was not. The chicken seemed like it was leftover from another dish. Very disappointing. We will not be going back.
