This is such a cute place! I love the vibe here. AWESOME people! Good conversation! But let’s get to why you’re reading this…the food is insanely good. Today, I ordered the Bone Marrow Platter on my lunch break. It sounded so interesting and tons of people had told me about it already so I expected to be impressed. What I didn’t expect was to be met with a meal that should be served at a very fancy restaurant. Even in a take out box, the presentation was beautiful. Two very large bones, split in half with meat and marrow and the flavor…WOW! It’s just so unique, I don’t think I have ever seen this on any menu before. The sides were equally as amazing and the range of flavors made for a very interesting meal. There was absolutely nothing I didn’t love.

I found out about this place through a friend of a friend, so you know I had to drive the 40 minutes from Elk Grove to Carmichael to try it out. My family and I showed up around 4pm and we happen to be the only ones in there which didn’t last long because there were about 4/5 other family’s that showed up not too long after us. When we had arrived we were greeted instantly by a very pleasant gentlemen whom said he name was Noah. The menu was easy to navigate which made it even easier for my family and I to decide what plates we wanted. That ambiance was nice and the subtle music in the background was relaxing. It took about 10/15 mins for our food to come out and let me tell you, it was hot and smelled delicious. We all dug right in and didn’t say a word to each other, but you did hear the sounds you make when you enjoy every bite. After we finished eating my daughter wanted to try to “Gunther’s Ice Cream” which definitely hit the spot after a fantastic meal. Thank you again for the great service and amazing food. You have a customer for life.
