We wanted to try The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ to compare it to the Hutchins BBQ location in Frisco. The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ is just as good! We went on a day off from work around lunch time, and it had a decent amount of people inside. The wife ordered the pork belly burnt ends, and a one meat moist brisket sandwich with potato salad and corn. I ordered the one meat sandwich with jalapeno cheddar sausage, pulled pork, and ribs. I had BBQ beans for a side. Everything we ordered was delicious! The standouts for me were definitely the pork belly burnt ends, ribs, and jalapeno sausage. Each was perfectly cooked. We also had some of the dessert, banana pudding and peach cobbler and both were really good. This location is closer to us so we will definitely be back!

Good Texas barbecue. Brisket has good bark and marble (or lean if you please). Their sausage is made in-house, so it’s better than average. Save some room for free dessert like peach cobbler, banana pudding or ice cream.

Texas BBQ is extremely competitive. I’m not sure what the back story of the relations between “other” Hutchins BBQ locations is but this is a newer BBQ restaurant where there is a vacuum of BBQ choices. With some tweaking it could be a noteworthy place to eat. While “fine” I am hoping that the verdict is still out for this store. Will visit again in the near future to verify.

Definitely a new favorite BBQ spot! They are still in the soft opening stages so they only had brisket when we got there at about 7:30pm. The brisket was perfectly seasoned. My kids tore up the mac&cheese, chicken Nuggets and Mashed potatoes. They even have complimentary ice cream, peach cobbler and banana pudding! The best part was the staff. Everyone was very nice and wanted our visit to be amazing so they constantly checked on us, made sure sure the food was 100% and just provided the best experience possible. Thank you and we can’t wait to go again!

Disappointed. I expected a higher level of food instead we got Fast food BBQ. The brisket had no flavor but was well cooked. The Mac n cheese and beans where bland and potato salad had to much mayonnaise.

This was our second time to eat here. I had the stuffed baked potato with chop brisket, the brisket was very tender and I love their spicy BBQ sauce. My wife had a chop beef sandwich and a Texas Twinkie, she loved it. Amazing free dessert like banana pudding, ice cream and my favorite Peach cobbler. When you sit down to eat they always have an employee come by your table to see if you need anything. Job well done!

Hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had! Customer service was incredible and you can tell that the team really loves serving folks. The overall experience left me wanting to come back for more the moment I left. Highly recommend the beef rib and brisket. So good!

Ate Saturday at 2pm, not busy. Texas twinkes are $7 but double the size of the other Hutchins. Worth it! Better side selection. Loved the garlic mash potatoes and wild rice(even if it was a little under cooked). Wish the salads were prepackaged on ice instead of open as they looked a little wilted and sad.

The smell when you walk in was intoxicating. Nicely redone after being the TrophyTable. We just ordered a simple lunch take out. We got a brisket stuffed potatoe, regular stuffed potatoe, couple of Texas Twinkies, banana pudding and peach cobbler. The meat was delicious and tender literally melted in my mouth. The peach cobbler was warm and was absolutely delicious. The Banana pudding was fabulous.
