No nonsense hidden true local favorite inexpensive gem, no tacky music, no fake blue-black lights, real long Island north shore salty sea breeze in your face, fresh just shucked clam and meat filled lobster, proper strong and not watered down cocktails, just amazing hidden gem locals hide when summertime quiet intimate relaxing break is summoned

Service and atmosphere are terrific. Nice views. A little pricey for a clam bar. I’d love to give the food a higher grade but it was the most salty food I may have ever eaten. I think they drained all the salt from the bay and put it in the food. Seriously, this place could be outstanding if they hired someone who knew how to cook without a mountain of salt. Did I mention that the food was salty?

Easy to see right off of Main Street servicing Bayville. Plenty of parking. Moderately clean facilities. Outdoor dining only. Very nice staff and Manager, but the Kitchen is very slow. No reservations. Small portions. On the expensive side so bring your credit cards. As the sunset there were many mosquitoes and I was bitten several times. Seafood is good. The corn was very good! Nice view. I’ll most likely be going back. Hopefully I can raise my rating.

I’d honestly give this a rating of 3 stars, but it’s location on the water makes this spot a fun place to stop for a drink and a snack.

It’s very nice to eat by the water there and staff was friendly and attentive, but I think I paid 26 dollars for an overcooked fish sandwich with one slice of unripe tomato, a slice of onion and a handful of fries. I could get the same sandwich at Jones Beach snack bar with the same nice view! And if you want to sub for sweet potato fries, it’s an extra 4 dollars? 13 dollars for a tiny glass of wine. I understand inflation is real but I’d give them a better rating if they adjust the pricing a little more fairly to reflect the items you are getting. Lobster, etc – I get the higher cost!

I understand that Sunday afternoons in summer are busy, but they could have made more of an effort to have a better service. The food was tasty, but we waited over an hour from ordering till the food arrived, and we weren’t even served water, nor did the server come check on us in the meantime.

There are some places you stumble upon, and then there are places like The Clam Bar at Bridge Marine – a true culinary gem nestled in the heart of Bayville, NY. I’ve had my fair share of seafood across the country, but I must say their Lobster Rolls are nothing short of legendary. Each bite is a harmonious blend of fresh, succulent lobster and perfectly balanced seasonings, wrapped in a soft, buttery roll.

We visited on a Saturday night. They don’t take reservations but we did call ahead to put our name in. The location is very scenic, overlooking the Bayville Bridge and marina. Seating is all outdoors, which was great as it was a beautiful evening. Our 2 apps (cold seafood salad) and crab cake (1 crab cake, kinda small) took almost an hour. Our server only came over to explain that there was one guy in the kitchen after about 45 minutes. We could see other guests were getting annoyed too. Our entrees came after we had been there for over an hour and a half. Prices are ok for the area, food quality was ok too, but be prepared to wait.
