This is food is soooooo good!!! The staff is real nice and friendly too. Did I mention how delicous the food tastes? It’s perfectly seasoned. Everything is at the right temperature for you to enjoy it immediately without burning your tongue.

My husband found this hidden gem and had been wanting some good southern home cooking and wanted to check it out. All I can say is WOW! I had the country fried steak with mashed pot. An gravy with Mac-n-chz and my God.. my husband had the fried pork chop with green beans (and bacon mixed in) with fried okra and a side roll.. It was sooooo good! To top it all off tho I my husband saw they had a lil fridge in the dinning area and inside were all the desserts and they have the best banana pudding! They use a cookie instead of the nilla pieces that most places use and they have it on point.. many other things to choose from as well! The staff/family that helped us while we were there were super friendly and welcoming and it made that southern “home” cooking feel and taste that much better! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon!

Tacky Service!! I called in my order. Catfish, okra and yellow rice. I even bought a piece of Ialian cream cake. There were no customers waiting. Why after 25 minutes of waiting, there was still no food yet they had collected my money plus a tip!!?? I was so dissappointed, (and hungry). I WALKED OUT. I plan to NEVER patronize this business again!!!!

So happy we found this jewel of true southern homestyle restaurant. We were at North Ocala RV resort and happened to look up soul food on Google . Awesome food servings very generous. For sure will be coming back next time we visit from Indiana
