I wasn’t a fan of the food. My fiance loves it though. It’s definitely something that is divisive, I think. Nice folks, but there’s no option to eat there at all, which is a bit of a bummer, as the restaurant vibe is nice.

Wouldve gave a 5 but think waiting 40-45min for what you see in photo was excessive. Its a order at counter & take number to seat place. Salsa bar is a couple dollars but chip refills free & salsa very good. Tried spicy jalapeno margarita & so good. Place was busy but not all seats filled & no wait at door. Not sure why it took so long. Saw others waiting just as long as well.

Delicioso tacos and guac. Friendly staff. Picked up to go. App was best app I’ve ever used to order food on! (Even let us split bill) Loved the braised beef, pastor and cochinta pibil tacos. We’ll be back! Fab salsa bar in back of restaurant, with 4 varieties. Be sure to utilize with your to go order. Time given for food wait after submitting app order was 25 min.

What a fantastic place! Super happy we tried it (thanks to a recommendation from my wife’s friend). It’s one of those places where the menu is written on the chalkboard, you just order as soon as you come in, and you seat yourself. It was very quick to get the food (they bring it to you) and the combination tacos that I got were absolutely fantastic. The chochinita pibil tacos were my favorite. My wife and son were impressed too. All of the ingredients tasted very fresh to me. It reminds me of a modern Taqueria in Austin with a pleasant dining area, unpretentious atmosphere, and very clean, new furnishings. What a treat to have it here in Landen! Savvy people from Kings Island or Great Wolf will come here I imagine.

Chilango is eerily similar to Mazunte Taqueria and located in a shopping plaza. The flavors were pretty good and the standout was the Cochinita taco. The Cochinita balanced salt, fat, acid, and spice for a taco with a powerful flavor profile; could definitely have multiples. The empanadas had a flavorful filling but I’m more partial to the Colombian style corn empanada vs. the flour…braised beef was bursting with rich beef flavor while the chorizo con papa was a bit bland.

First time here and we will be back. Having a several complicated orders due to dietary restrictions, it’s great to have a place that pays attention to orders. On top of being extremely friendly and serving delicious food, they even took the time to label each order with names on the outside and what was ordered on the inside.

I had a craving for street tacos, found this place, decided to give it a try. The service was great, cashier that took my order was very kind. They were out of the Chorizo (the reason I made the drive), and mahi-mahi tacos, so I ordered the pork belly, and spicy steak tacos. I have to say, although they weren’t “bad”, I wasn’t super impressed with either tacos, the steak wasn’t very spicy and it was lacking in taste, but the pork had a good taste, although not great. Definitely not a place I plan to make another 40+ minute drive to again.
