I have missed diners so much since leaving NJ, but oh my goodness. I absolutely enjoyed myself here. The kind and helpful waitress made the visit well worth it. Very clean and food was tasty. I’d advise anyone visiting this area, stop in and have a BLT with a side of fries.

Warm atmosphere and excellent food. Came in for breakfast and left very satisfied. The diner is cozy and that day it was decorated with orange Halloween lights around the windows.

The food is always excellent and of good quality. The waitresses are always friendly and efficient. My only complaint is the floors have a lot of dirt built up and the booths could use some repair. This place is always busy,no wonder they don’t have time to heavy clean. Most people may not notice the floors, but I have worked in food service most of my life and notice that sort of thing .

Modern Diner is a very small restaurant with limited tables and waitresses. Even though they were busy, the waitress was very nice and was hustling around to make sure everyone had their food/was content. The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t anything special. The parking was also a pain because there’s no parking lot.

First time dining there and did not know it is cash and check only. The staff was very friendly, understanding and accommodating. Food was great and the atmosphere was very retro in the sense of a diner. Definitely recommend!

First time here, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The blueberry pancakes were fantastic, and the homemade cinnamon doughnuts were delicious. The service was also super friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back here the next time I’m in the area!
