Called to ask about potentially having Lakeview host a private event for my group. After briefly explaining why I was calling and asking to speak with an event manager, I was put on “hold.” As the phone was set down I could still hear the conversation between the employee I called and who I assume was a manger of sorts. The person in the background did not want to get on the phone and was very dismissive about the information her employee was telling her. She instructed her employee to inform me that the manager is out of down and didn’t seem to want to deal with the event. It’s a Monday and rainy here today, thought I could at least get some information from someone.

Love the waterfront location. Best food in the lake, in my opinion. Service was fast and the band was good. Music wasn’t too loud, like it is at some of the other waterfront venues. We enjoy coming here after a day in the boat.

The beach and band area is fun, it’s super hard to find seating when they have a band though. The food was not so great and super expensive for what you get. We got two 3 piece fish fry meals (one fried one baked) with French fries, and a steak salad one mixed drink, one beer and a kiddy cocktail and paid over $60, over $70 with tip. The salad was just bagged iceberg lettuce and toppings, and the steak was like steak tips or some other not high quality cut of beef. Not really worth the price in my opinion. The fish portions were teeny and didn’t really taste that great, we’ve had better cod at the VFW. The Service was slow although they were packed and probably understaffed for how many people were eating/drinking that day so I can’t fault them too much on that one.

In town from Iowa and looking for a place to eat on the lake. Tyler was our server. He was great! Especially when you consider 5 adults coming in 20 minutes or so before close! The Italian beef was excellent and also the Cuban. Had cheese curds and Portebella mushroom appetizers. The mushrooms were especially good. Would recommend!! One of the biggest surprises was the Baked French Onion soup….YUMMM. Will definitely visit again. Only reason for 3 stars on atmosphere was because of so close to closing on a Monday night we missed most of the other diners and action.
