I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately the service was terrible by a young man who obviously did not want to be there. Took 15 min to get our drinks from the bar and when we inquired as to when we would get them he said to be patient they were busy. There were only 4 tables including ours when we ordered….. when the food came there was a lot, however it was dry, overcooked, chewy, and the beans had no flavor. We went we another couple and was presented with a bill for all us and when we explained we were separate we were asked did you tell your waiter that, my response was no one asked us. The bill was corrected and we left.The music was good but not good enough for me to go back.

First visit. The food was served hot and fresh. We had two chicken dishes and a steak dish. They were all delicious. We also ordered guacamole, and the small arepas, also delicious. Unfortunately they had no iced tea but ended up still charging me for it. Once notified the server removed the charge. I would probably go back again.

First time was great. Our food was excellent. Cooked to perfection, hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken with peppers & onions. Two sides were Rice and Plantains. Everything was delicious. We also had drinks and we really liked them as well. The Long Island iced tea and the strawberry daiquiri was awesome. We’re definitely going back for more. Service was good.

This is the second time eating here for us and I don’t think it’s going to get much better. I do feel for small business in Fayetteville. Lots of people over rate the food and service so no real need exist for these businesses to self evaluate. And let’s not even mention the amount of soldiers who come through and do a lot of group thinking and only rave about a place because others have. Yes, I am a soldier and have seen this first hand.

I ordered steak with sautéed veggies- which reminded me of Mexican steak fajitas. The sliced steak was cooked with bell peppers and onions. I ordered avocado slices on the side in addition to maduros. It was all delicious! Service was fair. I don’t see why not return! 🙂

I only got a few things via GrubHub, but so good. I think the arepa would have been better fresh (driver got lost ) but I still ate all of it. Chicken empanada was my favorite and I will ALWAYS love platanos (plantains). Love love

It’s usually the little spots that never fail to amaze and this is one of them. We came here on a Thursday afternoon and it was relatively empty at first. The server was quick to our table and took the drink and appetizer order. We ordered the plantains with guacamole. I was surprised to only see four fried plantains with the mountain of guacamole that came. The taste of both, plantains and guacamole was great, I would have expected a few more plantains though, as we had half a bowl of guacamole left after finishing the plantains.

Ever since I came here I been looking for a good authentic Colombian restaurant and I found la fogata , I really enjoy the food here although I think they can work a little harder in the restaurant decoration, an update will be good. but the food is good. My favorite plate is la bandeja paisa y empanadas de carne for sure .
