We are on a summer roadtrip vacation and drove all the way down from Jackson, WY on our way back home through Denver going to Kansas City and were craving Italian. We found Paulie’s on Yelp and it got such amazing reviews we decided to give it a try! Even though we knew it was take-out only and located in a random location, the food was excellent!! We have a big family so we ordered a twice-baked lasagna, chicken Parmesan, a pepperoni pizza, a cheese ravioli and side of meatballs. Each of the meals came with a salad and bread which was a nice touch! The red sauce was slightly spicy but obviously homemade and very delicious! We took our meal to a local park where we had a wonderful Italian picnic! Glad we gave it a try!

Closest thing I’ve found to childhood favorite called Pasta Cottage. Homemade noodles and everything we’ve had so far is amazing. The sausage is amazing. Reading other reviews that give anything but a 5 star and it’s because they don’t do dine in.. seriously? Can’t make everyone happy. If you want really good food and a great value call in a to go order to Paulie’s.

I cannot say enough good things about the food at Paulie’s. It’s all homemade and it’s just so much better than any other Italian places than I myself have been to. I first found Paulie’s in Johnstown years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Wherever he moves to, I drive there without hesitation.

Paulie himself is a main character in life! What a great guy! The service is phenomenal especially for being just take out! On top of that the food is REALLY good. The Marinara is top notch! Their sausage is so good!!! And the Italian dressing is to die for! Oh and the Stromboli was amazing! It was my first time going and won’t be my last! Soo worth trying!! And getting again and again.

It was our 1st time trying Paulie’s. I have been craving eggplant Parm for a long time (I went through treatment for stage III breast cancer not long ago, and my appetite and taste buds just had not been cooperating). This delicious meal has been a long time coming! We got the Eggplant Parm (which comes with a side salad and garlic bread), the meatball stromboli and some mozzarella sticks. I am Italian and lived there for many years, therefore I am picky about my Italian food. It was all SO amazing!!! The best eggplant Parm I’ve ever had!! The meatball stromboli was also delicious as were the mozzarella sticks! I also loved the Italian dressing. A bit after we got done eating, I got a phone call and it was Paulie checking to see if we enjoyed the food!!! How great is that?!? He noticed my last name on my debit card, and wanted to check if an authentic Italian liked it. It was such a sweet & special touch to the whole experience. Needless to say, we will be getting food from Paulie’s regularly. I highly recommend it!!!

The BEST! I think I ate here for dinner the last 8 nights……. No joke. Paulie is like family to me now and he establishes a certain relationship where he wants to create it specifically to my liking and also make it taste so damn delicious. On god one of the best in Loveland. No chain B.S. he puts his heart into the business and food. I wish this man the most success in life, I can’t pin point one dish or another they are all so good. People get out of your comfort zone and try the Italian grill take out. It warms your heart with the flavors put into the food. Thanks Paulie & Joe!

We ordered from Paulie’s this evening and the food was fantastic. We asked for delivery, but they did not have a driver at that time. When the owner learned that we were unable to pickup at restaurant due to a disability issue he said don’t worry I’ll deliver it personally. He did. Talk about great service!

Paulie, from North Denver does it the ol Italian way. Best Sicilian pie I’ve ever had and the meatball sandwich was outstanding. Here is the real story. I met a friend from Montana for lunch only to find out he doesn’t open till 4 pm. Barb from the Goldsmith shop next door contacted Paulie and he made our whole lunch special for us at noon. He threw in some delicious homemade spaghetti! When was the last time in Colorado you had a restaurant owner go out of his way to serve his guests. Thank you Paulie…. you’ve made a couple loyal fans and friends. Yes, the moon hit the sky, thats amore!
