Food was amazing and prices were decent. The atmosphere was family friendly vibes. Even though the place was packed the staff did an exceptional job leaving me wanting to come back. Also shoutout to the kitchen because I know people don’t see what you do behind the scenes. If you’ve never been and love bbq, go try the ribs!

With all due credit for managing the challenges of a seasonal resort town restaurant, I was not impressed with my meal. Friday nights feature prime rib or ribs at prices which would lead you to believe to be exclusive for the area. Unfortunately, my large cut was bland, over cooked and overly fatty. Perhaps I got a bad cut but the overall flavor indicates that the entire roast was not seasoned or prepared with anything more care than a standard pot roast. A quick glace around saw similar results being served.

This is a good pub & grill. Their location is not nearby the lake and it’s busy when we got there at 6pm, but the service is fast and the food is good too. The price was as expected. I think it’s a good place for quick dinner. I give 5 stars for food and services.

Had some decent food but someone claiming to be the owner’s son harassed my family and I, following us out to our vehicle and threatening us, telling us we were going to get waxed. The owner, management, nor the server who followed outside, did anything to keep us patrons safe or rectify the situation. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else staying in Okoboji.

The food was reasonably priced, and the dishes were large. The food was rather bland. My daughter got the rib eye steak, and I don’t think they even put salt on it. The nachos were also bland as if there was no seasoning on them. The waitress was so overworked as she was the only one taking orders and running food. She did a great job, but I felt sorry for her.

First time visit on Friday night. They had a all you can eat fish special for $14, but I wasn’t that hungry. I tried the chislic (medium rare). It was cooked perfectly. The bbq sauce was a bit lacking, and the fries were basic. All of this combined, it was still overall satisfying for the price and location. No wait on a Friday night at 7pm.
