A gyros original should have sauce on it that’s a part of what makes it good. Like 1 tablespoon of sauce if that they are big time cutting back. Don’t know how I’m going to choke the rest down. Not worth the money.

I just had the worse experience with Athens. It’s so sad that customer service is such poor quality in the evening towards the community. I ordered and waited over a hour for my food to be delivered to the wrong address. God bless that receiver who got my order. Now I have a child hungry and then need to wait for days to be reimbursed. I’m so tired of being treated any type of way be owners who really DO NOT care about the customer. More signs of our cold world and lack of care. Disappointed in you Athens so disappointed. But you don’t care as long people continue patronizing you. Smh

This place has existed for at least 30 years, used to have some of the best gyros I’d ever had. Went there recently and ordered a gyro jr., it was 13.99 and it is now one of the worst, most skimpiest gyros I’ve ever had. The sauce was horrible it looked curdled and was very watery. Let me get this right, you give a massive increase in price and then give deflated quality in food? I’m not sure if prices for gyro ingredients have increase but if it were me and it would literally kill the quality I’m used to serving, I would have to list this menu item as temporarily unavailable. Why risk losing customers?! Just don’t get it. Please Do better restaurant owners.

PEOPLE LISTEN UP!!! The food is HORRIFIC!! Just like their customer service!!! Nasty attitude!!! I asked to speak to the management, hoping to get a listening ear, BUT all I got was a more INTENSIFIED nasty person!!! Order was TOTALLY wrong! Didn’t want money back! Just to inform them how wrong my order was on ALL accounts!!! I got yelled at like I’m the one who cooked the SLOP!!.
