I was craving a good cheese steak sandwich. Found this place. Ordered king classic Philly with onions, sweet, hot peppers, curly fries, regular classic Philly, and tender meal for the kiddo. Tenders were pretty good with side chipotle sauce that came with the Philly’s. I thought the curly fries were pretty good but my sister thought it was salty. I enjoyed my sandwich with the sweet and hot peppers. Overall pretty good although a bit pricey.

I stopped by the new CheeseSteak Shop in Pacifica to give it a try. I placed my order inside and sat down at one of the tables. The restaurant looks clean and comfortable. 10 minutes…20 minutes…30 minutes pass by and still no cheesesteak. Several people that came in after me started picking up their orders. I walked up to the front and asked to speak with the manager. Fredrick, the owner, came up and apologized and offered a refund and made the sandwich for me. I was pretty disappointed to have to waste my time but my 5-star review of this restaurant goes to the owner’s responsive customer service. As a past restaurant worker, mistakes will surely be made in this type of business, but the survival of the company relies on how you respond to these types of situations. Thank you.

Just visited the new Cheesesteak Shop in Pacifica. It’s in the Safeway plaza in the corner so easy to park and get your Philly Joes with Garlic! Try the Genuine Hank’s Root Beer for some authentic Philly soda.

I got a large chicken philly sandwich with onion rings and a soda. Super good. The Philly was very flavorful, super soft bread. The onion rings came out hot and lightly breaded so you can actually taste the onion. We’re lucky to have this place on the coast. Will come back.

Had a horrible employee blow up at me for taking a cup for part of my meal. She yelled at me, lecured me after leaving the cash register withno one attending. The Paper cup was part of my paid meal!!! The Manager lied and said he was the owner when he was just renting and had dog hair all over his shirt. He then started making excuses and defending her as if it was Ok and it’s not her fault. I watched how they make their sandwiches. They uses from bread and frozen hamburger patties from Safeway and chop it up to make fake cheese steak sandwiches. The Steak Fries are also FROZEN. The place is cheap but the service is horrible. I never even got an apology and it ruined my whole day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP. It’s garbage food and garbage service.

Although I don’t have proper Philly cred to thoroughly review a cheesesteak, I know what good tastes like and this is it! I’ve raved about Buster’s in North Beach but this place fancies it up a notch in quality and presentation. The meat is cut paper thin, super shredded, and the peppers are SO GOOD, cutting through the richness of the meat and cheese and making a well rounded sandwich. As for the location, they’ve may be hidden in plain sight at the very end of Fairmont Center, to the left of Ledu. Service is prompt but go ahead and order from their app if in a hurry and to earn points/rewards. And yes, they deliver! Ambiance reminds me of a Subway store, long and narrow with tables along the wall. Nice to know you can sit and enjoy–cheesesteaks should be eaten immediately for the best experience. Thumbs up, team. I’m a fan!

Gilroy Philly and pizza Philly were both great options. New and clean little sandwich shop. What I loved the most was “Fred”, nice, fast and efficient. Please treat all service workers well, like what their sign says.
