The talipia whole fried fish was simply out of the park. Server was so nice, actually all of them were smiling and cheerful. The ambiance was very casual but clean. The food was so tasty. The best test is when you don’t need any sauce or supporting food. Then you know your food is good.

In town for work and decided to stop somewhere new for lunch on the way back to Houston- We saw that La Costa had a 4.5 rating and thought we should try it for ourselves, and it did not disappoint! Those stars are well deserved! The food was delicious for the price point, with a serving size sure to fill you up. We also got strawberry margaritas which were balanced in their sweetness to alcohol ratio. And lastly, our waitress was simply a doll- So attentive and helpful, she made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you haven’t already.

Stopped in for dinner very casual place, more suited for lunch. Salsa was thin no heat. Poor boy, had popcorn, shrimp in it not much flavor to it. The margarita was not very strong rather cheap tasting the Boudin balls were fair. The chicken fried chicken was battered, thinly but a little over cooked nothing really had any flavor or seasoning except for the french fries. One thing I can say was the service was excellent did not have to ask for a thing.. overall I would rated 2 1/2 I don’t believe I would be back, but for a quick lunch, grab a bite I hope they read this and get the cook to put some seasoning on the food.. follow me to the next destination.

I purchased two kids meals, crawfish and crabs total check around $85.00. Before my food even arrived I asked for the check because I could already tell it would be a while before we got our food. I assume the lady who kept checking on our table was the manager, however our server only came when it was time to bring the food and check. She didn’t care to monitor refills or even ask how our food came out. The food was decent, wouldn’t return due to the lack of customer service on our servers behalf.

The food here was alright, I was really looking forward to trying their Cajun pasta but was let down, it just tasted like alcohol (had a funny taste), hence why the 2 stars. The service was good even though it was super packed. We also order the gator bites, pick 3 fried proteins (oysters: super delicious but the breading fell off too easily didn’t stick; fried fish: decent; fried shrimp: okay too), and we got fried ice cream but it was weird with the coconut flakes and Neapolitan ice cream in the middle. I personally felt like it was over priced for our meal.

I was skeptical at first, but that didn’t last long. I ordered the Cajun Pasta, and it didn’t disappoint! My mouth was bursting with flavors each bite I took! The chicken truly was juicy and tender, and the garlic french bread was fluffy, crispy, and melted in your mouth, too! The Shrimp Cocktail was from another dimension and was out of this world, too! The staff took immaculate care of the place, and you can see immediately the pride they take in making sure you are well taken care of! I will definitely be back on my next trip down here!

A month or so ago I had the pleasure of dining at La Costa, and I must say, it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was outstanding, and the food was unmatched. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests through their attention to detail, and their efforts to connect with the community. They even had a raffle to win a lawnmower at one point (I didn’t win unfortunately)! Now I usually don’t write reviews, but after my recent visit this weekend I had to share my thoughts. It is definitely worth the commute from my home in The Woodlands. I will be back!
