I love this place!! I don’t usually rate/review places, but I saw this only had 3.9. I’ve been getting yau yu for over 18 years when I first moved to Holtsville. They are great!!

This was my second visit to this restaurant. My first visit I ordered shrimp fried rice with beans sprouts, eggs, onions and spicy. It was really good. My second visit I ordered the same but when I got to the restaurant, the cashier and the cook were arguing in Chinese. I placed my order the same way I did the last time. When the cashier charged for the food it was pricier than the last time. I ordered extra shrimp so I said to my self, maybe shrimp is more expensive. When the food was ready I looked at and it wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered shrimp fried rice and what I got was a pint of white rice and a container full of beans sprouts, little onions and eggs. It wasn’t what I ordered and I told the cashier about the wrong order. I decided to eat it anyways because I was going to be late from my lunch break. While eating the disgusting food that I didn’t order, the cashier and cook kept arguing very loudly in Chinese. I will never go there again. It seems like the cashier can’t comprehend English that well. It was a waste of money and time.

This place has a great selection of Chinese food. The lunch prices are very reasonable I enjoy the mushroom chicken and it was enough for 2 that is if you want a light lunch. The portion was reasonable and probably I had finished it all by myself I would have any dinner. The service was fast and food was hot.

Food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. They always give you more than enough food, there is always enough meat, chicken or shrimp in there orders. I love shrimp and they give good sized shrimp in there dinners. We have been ordering from there since 2003. yes there have been times when the food arrived warm or even cold, (rarely happens) instead of hot, but it is a delivery service and when ordering at peak times, i expect that. that is why microwave’s are fantastic. 30 seconds and it is hot again. so to as far as quick and fast, and fast food is concerned – lot better than eating mcdanald’s or other for a much much better meal.

I love this place so delicious especially the pan fried shrimp dumplings, you can tell they’re homemade with chunks of shrimp. Also the fried scallop appetizercis delicious too despite they’re not the real scallops but like that faux sea leg stuff you see in the stores. The shrimp in the shrimp in lobster sauce is always fresh and delicious but I wish it wasn’t so thick like they put too much cornstarch or thickener in it. The chicken and mushrooms is also delicious with chunks of fresh mushrooms. (I have been to other places where you could tell they used sliced canned mushrooms). I would definitely recommend this place to others, I know for sure I’m going back again.

I love the Kung Pao Gai Ding (chicken with veggies and peanuts). So far, everything I’ve ordered from here has been really good. The dumplings are a little thick and doughy for my taste, but everything is really tasty and fresh.

Wonton egg drop soup was great, pan fried wontons were perfectly cooked. There must be a new cook here because this food was much better than 2 months ago.

Food was okay at best, the young woman who took my order on the phone and helped me when I arrived was by far one of the rudest people I’ve dealt with in a long time. Will not return.

Really terrible. Sold us Peking duck, stone cold and clearly rather old. First they accused us of lying when we complained; then, when we insisted, they told us that it was SUPPOSED to be cold – even though they’d denied that it was cold at all just minutes before. Refused to refund us, and – this is the best bit – demanded that they be able to come and pick up the peking duck so that they could sell it to someone else!! Just ghastly. Avoid.
