It’s really hard to follow the pedigree from Lotus Garden (which was here for over 15+ years) and it’s really good to see all the servers here but the food is really not matching the quality. I know some people may have better experiences here but it was not good for being 7pm. The food wasn’t fresh but I will give them another try again one day.

First time back since it was Lotus Garden and we were very pleased. The decor is very nice, spacious and clean. The service was great and quick, very polite. The buffet is varied and tasty, the vegetables are crunchy, the seasoning is very good. They offer a senior discount and I can hardly wait to go for their happy hour discount from 2-4.

If you eat here once, you will never try another buffet. The Mongolian grill was fresh and delicious. Everything clean, including the restrooms. The owners are constantly making rounds to make sure everyone is enjoying everything and that all the food is hot and fresh. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and make this your spot for Asian cuisine in Lafayette!

5 Stars across the board! We stopped in during a quick weekend road trip, craving a good old fashioned Chinese buffet! Usually I’ll stop at Buffet city or Great Wall when passing through, but decided to give Asian Palace a shot, and they gained a new customer for life. Both the food and the service were superior to anything else I’ve experienced in the Lafayette area. Crab Rangoon is guilty pleasure of mine, and theirs was top notch. The buffet had it all, and the Hunan shrimp/beef was off the charts good. Our waitress was sweet, service was great, but those egg rolls, General Tso’s and hunan will keep me coming back! Hats off to the chef, and thanks again, you’ve got a new customer in me!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would…..the staff were great but the food was the opposite. The food did not taste good and if I could have left without paying after taking the first bite I would have. The flavor of almost every dish was just breathtaking and not in a good way, the temperature of the food is not as it should have been and they should probably check the temperature of their pans that the food is being held in, and most importantly after trying a little bit of basically everything the only good thing was the fried biscuits with powdered sugar.

First time eating here. I ended up getting the vegetable fried rice, Orange chicken, grilled shrimp and wontons from the lunch buffet. The fried rice was really good, wontons were decent. The orange chicken was salty. The service was good and the prices were a bit more than I expected. I may visit again in the future.

It is a new restaurant that took over where Lotus Garden used to be. The food is fresh; the staff is very friendly. I went today with a party of 11 to include myself. Our waitress was attentive, but a bit slow on getting us refills on drinks. I accidentally left my card on the card tray after paying; the young man cleaning the table as we were walking out ran out after us to give the card back. We meet monthly at different places, but have agreed to meet there next month. The inside is gorgeous. It looks totally different from when Lotus Garden had it. I would suggest going there.
