Drove all the way from the other side of Yorktown Texas to get Church’s Chicken last Sunday. I ordered two 12-piece mix chicken told the girl I have to have wings and breasts because my elderly parents can only eat white meat that’s why I need mixed and not all dark. it was like 45 bucks for the chicken only with no sides. Got all the way back to the farm about 30 minutes later and all I had was legs and thighs absolutely no wings or breast. It’s not worth the drive to go all the way back for them to correct their mistake. I just ended up taking my parents to a local restaurant in Yorktown instead since I already wasted everybody’s time and my money going all the way to Cuero for chicken they could not eat.

I’m giving it 4 stars only because, the honey butter biscuits could have been better and half of my chicken was nice and hot! Now if you could just re-dip the already cooked chicken in the oil just to make it hot, I’m cool with that, that would be great! But other than that everything was delicious!

The food is always great but the customer service is absolutely outstanding!!! Every single time I have been here, their kindness always puts a smile on my face! Their energy is contagious! It’s so worth driving to the other side of town. We’ve stopped twice at closing time and neither time did they make us feel bad. They were appreciative of our business even thought they were closing up shop. On top of that, of course the food is delicious!!
