This is a popular venue and well liked. It is pricey. Two of the T bones were ordered medium rare. They were near well done. The waitresses took both back. She returned with them saying the cook said they were fine. I have never experienced a cook saying to take the food back. We refused to accept them back. New ones were made and were good. The slow service was due staff shortage (not the venues fault). Our waitress was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Staff shortages are a problem everywhere.

We called ahead for a party of ten at 3 pm for arrival at 7 had one waitress who was very nice but very forgetful. The salad bar was set up nicely and a good selection. I had the large filet mignon 9 oz. Tender kinda small for a filet as in thickness. The rice wasn’t even cooked very crunchy:( By the decorative orange on the plate it looked like mine was made first as it was dry.

It’s not that the food was bad, it’s just that the food wasn’t good, especially for the price. The steak was exactly like I could have gotten at village in but obviously for a much lower price (at Village Inn). I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it was cooked medium. There was no seasoning used on the steak and in fact it tasted like they had washed it down thoroughly before they cooked it..little to no flavor. They said it was a 12 oz ribeye, but it was closer to a 7 to 8 oz ribeye. My friend who was with me had ordered the same thing and all of his comments were the same with the exception that he also said he thought they had brought him a breakfast steak by mistake. The mashed potatoes were not tasty at all, but the service was decent and the atmosphere wasn’t bad. The tastiest part about the meal was the cocktail, I had their Bahama mama and it was actually pretty good, but kind of on the sweet side for anybody that doesn’t like sweet drinks.

Great food and service. The salad bar is simple but fresh and delicious. My steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The dessert was yummy but felt tired and uninspired. Wish they had a better selection of desserts.

If I could give a Negative 5 stars, I would. I have not ever written a review on a restaurant; however, I have called the establishment 3 times to talk about our experience & have not received a call back. So, here: Our meals were HORRIBLE and made 3 out of 6 of us sick. When our food came out, my steak was over cooked, another individuals fish and chips were burnt.

So I ordered to go. The steak was good but this $9 cobbler was a joke.

I ordered from doordash and my steak and vegetables were very good. However, the apple cobbler that I got was not worth the $7.95 that I paid for, It was just enough to fit in the palm of my hand.

We called ahead to to reserve a table that was wheelchair accessible. Our party of 3 was put into a booth right in front of the salad bar. We asked several times if we could have a table instead but were told the only open tables had two steps to get to them, even though we could see a number of empty tables in another area of the restaurant. Needless to say, our family member in the wheelchair was continuously run into, bumped and pushed by people going to, or coming from the salad bar. I was shocked that a restaurant with such a good reputation would not be fully ADA compliant, and subjected our family member to a miserable dining experience.
