We decided to try the Sharon Tavern for the first time tonight, and we happened to stumble across the soft opening of their new outdoor patio. It was absolutely gorgeous. The owner stopped over to talk to us, and was so sweet and friendly. The staff was wonderful, the food was fantastic. 10/10.

We were driving through the area and decided to stop to grab a bite to eat. I had the Penne a la vodka and my daughter had the sausage and pasta. First, it was a really large quantity of food! Unfortunately, we could not take our leftovers but we would have loved to. Their salad was very fresh and penne a la vodka had bits of tomato that was totally awesome. The sausage was really good as well. The bread would have been better if it was warmed but it was still good. Service was absolutely excellent! I do not remember the server’s name but he was very timely and attentive. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop!

I had the dinner special the filet mignon. It was the best steak I ever had! So tender and tasty ! Also had the appetizer special the Brussel sprouts with bacon and maple syrup, so good! Would totally go back!

We were so lucky to stumble upon this restaurant. Despite no reservations, a table was set for us. The service was wonderful, friendly and attentive. My husband had the rib eye – cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I enjoyed the bourbon salmon. Meals come with salad and fresh bread. Don’t pass this place by.

I live local, yet had never been. Started with bang bang shrimp (house made sauce) and the beer and garlic clams. Wife had penne ala vodka with chicken and I had personal pizza. Everything was excellent. Very small and rustic table area, yet comfortable. The staff were friendly and had smiles. That goes along way. I would not discount this place for the appearance. It is a hidden gem on the scenic highway (US Route 20). Thanks for a good meal.
