From the service to the food, just phenomenal We happened to walkin right before the dinner rush so we got our apps rather quickly. As the rush peaked our entres took a lil longer, however our server made sure we were well taken care of and it gave us the perfect time to visit and digest before the main course. Crab cake and french onion soup apps were well balanced in flavor and richness. Dare I say perfect smoothness to each. Beef tips and salmon were exquisite as well. That caramelization on the filet edges was everything and the jous moat around the mashed, oh man. Wish we had discovered this joint sooner and we’ll definitely be back for more. Thanks for a great evening out.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated with a clean modern design. The service was good, the dishes varied. I found my order to be mediocre for the price; granted the ingredients were fresh and high quality, so may have been paying a premium for that. I’d give Hearth another try next time I’m in Malone. It’s really nice to see a place like this in Malone and I hope they’ll get better with time, because there is a lot of potential there, but some of the dishes need improvement.

My wife and I went to the Hearth on Valentine’s day not knowing what to expect. From the moment we walked in staff was very friendly. It was an inviting environment with a modern and rustic blend. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food we ordered was delicious from our starter to desert. If your looking for a place for a special occasion or just a nice night out with your special someone the Hearth is the place to go.

I just had to share a review ! We came for dinner on Sunday Feb 26 !!!!! My mother who has a hard time walking was greeted by the best bartender who helped her !!! We had great service for dinner I didn’t catch her name but I believe she was the only waitress on ! She had dark hair and very attentive … great personality and made sure we had everything !!!! This made our experience amazing !!!!!! The food was amazing … the atmosphere was the best !!! My mom kept saying how caring the bartender was for her !!!! They both waitress and bartender on Sunday nite need to be appraised of there great service !!!! Thank you again !!!!!

My family and I had decided to meet up for a makeup of our Christmas Dinner together. As I work 6 days a week my family wanted to take a load off of me and go out for dinner. We made reservations 2 weeks ahead of time and I had to put in for the time at work. We arrived on time for our reservations and it was only 5 people tonight as was set for our reservation. The host was very sweet and he immediately warned the kitchen that a table of 5 will be ordering soon when all the guests finally arrive. Well within only a few minutes my family arrived. We sat at the table for 30 minutes without anyone coming to take a drink order! The house came up to the table after seeing us look around frustrated and asked if we wanted sparkling or tap water. We gave our preference and still nothing came. The host came back again asking if anyone came to take an order. We still had no water or drinks!! He decided to help the staff and take our drink order and after several minutes came to tell us the bottle of wine 2 people in my group ordered was unavailable. They ordered another bottle. Well the drinks and water never came. My family and I decided to leave and order for delivery at my house and the delivery came faster than it took for us to get a water at the hearth!! Very sad and disappointed as my husband and I had wanted to try the restaurant since he helped design and install their beer system. We are from Long Island and have wanted to eat there since they opened. My family drove hours to eat there and ended up at my place for pizzas! So extremely disappointed. My brother in law tried to ask for the owner and he was not available. Instead they took him to the manager who seemed to not care at all and gave no response or remorse for the service. He basically seemed irritated by the questioning. My family and I were extremely excited to be eating there after months of them being closed. Such a shame for a nice place to be unable to serve tables. It didn’t even seem to be too busy where you cannot help a table take a order after 20 minutes. I hate to see them close down, but it seems they cannot handle service where they can make money to stay open.

Superb. Just us two tired parents strolling into the restaurant on a late evening and we are delighted to interact with such stellar staff members at every step of our dining experience. Just the most genuine smiles from the entire staff along with pleasant conversation. The food was equally amazing, most especially the NY Strip Steak which was paired with a baked potato and broccoli. It might be odd to say this about greens but i’d come back for a whole plate of those veggies any time….and then that chocolate cake. Rich and divine. Definitely coming back!
