Our eyes were caught with what they have for lobsters. To our surprise, they only accept cash so we have to go a parking lot to get it. When we got there, the waiter messed up our order and served us cold sandwich instead. I gave it a 3/5 since the manager/owner was nice and friendly. The food wasn’t that bad. There were inconveniences during dining in.

The front of house, behind the counter and everywhere else guy (you’ll see!) has an unrivalled energy and passion for his food. He was showing me the other table’s orders before serving them and telling me how they made them! If you want a pizza place that uses high quality ingredients and dishes made with passion then this place is a must!

The young lady at the front counter was fabulous. She was polite nice and made the pizza shop feel welcoming. It has the feel of a New York style pizza joint the sauce could be a little bit better, but overall it was a great pizza.

Overall I decided to give this place 3 stars, which honestly isn’t bad. We ate in…. there is only counter service, no table service which is fine. Tables were a tab dirty but it is counter service. Pizza ordering process was straight forward and service was friendly. My wife and kids enjoyed the plain pizza and it looked good. I ordered a personal buffalo chicken pizza. It was ok but the plain definitely looked better. I can see where people may want “more fancy” given the area and other nearby options, as well as being on vacation – but this is the closest you can find to a traditional pizza business in the area. It was definitely busy. Overall, nothing memorable, but not as bad as people made out in the reviews.

Last night I went to get late night fries after a wedding, I noticed another patron who was barely conscious and sweating at one of the tables. After I ordered I saw that he was right outside the door on the ground, incapacitated. Two kind strangers and his friend were trying to help him. I went in to ask for a bag (they had small brown paper bags) and the staff begrudgingly gave two to me. The young kid vomited in those bags and I went in to ask for two more. I presume the owner, started arguing and raising his voice to tell me bags aren’t free I asked how much he would like for them and gave him the $2 he requested. I went back outside to make sure the kid (who is on the front door steps of this man’s business) was ok while I debated calling an ambulance for him. Once I knew he was safe I went back inside to explain that I was just trying to help a stranger and I asked the man/owner what if this was his brother or his child? to which he replied “my child wouldn’t do that” and yelled at me.

Worst Pizza & Wings in Newport, soggy doughy crust, wings were sloppy batter slid off the wings & the buffalo hot sauce was bad. Maybe it was an off night. One large meat lovers includes basil & there was none, pizza was barely warm, dough was white & flopped when you picked up a slice & topping were mushy, falling off & for a meat eaters you really need it a little crisp. I could not tell this was wood fired as it barely tasted cooked at all. I’ve had crisper pizza at 7-11. I would have rather given a a guy on the street my $72 rather than pay for that large pizza & 12 piece wings. Never again. Delivery was on time about an hour & guy was nice.
