Quintessential urban coffee shop, down to the mismatching but curated selection of extremely cool furniture. It’s in a great spot to catch the morning sun. Incredible breakfast sandwich; the sweet chili mayo is an absolute chef’s kiss. The drip coffee is smooth and rich, and the espresso is a class above most others. The staff was friendly and quick. Highly recommended if you’re downtown.

Well, here’s introducing Cafe Kubal, the only coffee house (yes house, not shop, shops are for rundown strip malls and tech ed class) where you can live vicariously through the lives of these upbeat, kind, and coffee connoisseurs…in case you hate yours! Love the coffee and food here. I used to go here all the time for a quick coffee break during work, and have returned here and there since then after moving on. The coffee is some of my favorite drip coffee that I’ve had, and I’m a sucker for their black bean hummus wrap. They could overall use one or two more vegan/vegetarian options on their menu, but I’m assuming they’re just suiting whatever demographic comes and know better than I do. Great for doing laptop work / reading / meeting with friends!
