After visiting San Francisco and eating at their restaurants that served the freshest seafood, I was missing it, now being back in Sacramento. Stopped by at the California Fish Grill to fill that void. I’ve eaten here many times before and I’m so glad I remembered this place. They have fresh seafood here everyone!! I ordered the Wild Salmon over riced cauliflower and zucchini and it was delicious. The Wild Salmon was perfectly cooked. Fresh and flaky. It was a delight and was the next best thing! Top it off with beer or wine!

omg wow first time in Sac and this was one of my favorite meals. the dynamite shrimp bowl was fabulous i got it with brown rice and no cilantro, thought i would need extra sauce but it was so flavorful. had the perfect kick to it! the amount of shrimp was insane though im having to take half home because i couldn’t finish the 20 shrimps on top of the rice ! my boyfriend got the grilled chicken sandwich and i thought it tasted amazing, he said it’s alright because he didn’t think it was spicy enough.

The dynamite shrimp bowl. If it is a dollar more to make it a salad. Why serve it dry with no dressing. My coconut shrimp was over cooked and hard. The shrimp bowl serving was small for a big guy like me.

One of our worst food experiences. Burnt catfish, over fried shrimps that were like rubber and employees busy just chit chatting rather than paying attention to customers and the restaurant.

Hungry? Fishing for something delicious and healthy, but don’t know what to get? Well, this restaurant will satisfy your appetite! I highly recommend getting your selection of fish grilled! I got the Sea bass plate and loved it! They do a really good job grilling. The fish was not dry at all. If you prefer fried fish, it’s pretty good too, but make sure you eat it at the restaurant where it’s hot and fresh. A lot of people complain that the batter is too thick, which can be a problem when the food is delivered and gets cold. Restaurant is clean, cool, and spacious. Free parking and an unlimited soda fountain is available for you drinkers!

I don’t know what’s happening If there under New Management but the service is not good any more I have been getting over Cook fish more than once I had them redo my order. They only want to except $20 and lower bills. I was behind a woman that was pregnant they spent over 40 something dollars they ordered online they tried to pay with a $50 and they would not accept it I said it was company policy not to accept any deals lottery for 20 the young lady had to go across the street to Starbucks to get chains to pay for her order ☹️ I’m no longer a customer

It has been a while since I’ve been to visit but No Worries Mates! They still come through in the Cluch. On the menu: Sea bass with zuchini and fries. Fish tacos and shrimp trio along with, The grilled catfish, rice and Kale salad. And No this wasn’t all me lol! But it was most Delicious! Good Food Good Service.
