The service at lunch could be better. They have a bar / community table for parties that don’t want to wait for a table, however I do not like that the restaurant does not enforce sushi bar / community table etiquette. People are using the extra seat to store their belongings instead of putting jackets and belongings on the coat hooks/ in their lap.

Dining out in Seattle can often feel stifling, with high prices and often underwhelming food. Rondo is a breath of fresh air and one of the few places I enjoy visiting, with a good balance of reasonable prices and thoughtfully prepared food.

Japanese fusion with special items on the menu that changes weekly. Everything is fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the Mr. Pork Ribs and Creamy Udon (with seafood). Tables are limited as space is not huge; visit during lunch hours to avoid peak hours. Fun fact: this restaurant is one group with Baiten and Tamari Bar.

I was looking for the famed “salmon that melts in your mouth” kind of food in Seattle and this place did not disappoint! We loved all that we ordered: Salmon Chirashi Donburi, Edamame, and Uni&Seafood Creamy Udon. I really liked my udon, the flavors go along well and filled me up! Highly recommended!
