Stickball Special

Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I placed an online order for one sandwich which said it would take about 45 min, I got there a bit early than pick up time and realized I should’ve just ordered there. Employees did not have the best customer service, it’s obvious that everyone working had no sense of urgency with a good amount of guests in there waiting to be helped. Food was good, but when I first opened it they had left the bacon on top of the sandwich. I waited super long and yes thanks for not forgetting it, but the least they could’ve done was put the bacon inside of the sandwich for me like cmon now.
