Mariposa has hands down some of the best views I’ve ever seen for dinner!! Make sure you take pictures before and or after you dining experience and I highly recommend making reservations just before sunset. Now it’s not all views, the ambience is beautiful and open to bring the big outdoor feel into the dining room. The service is upscale while the food greatly compliments the Latin inspired theme. My favourite was the Flores Del Mar which, not to simplify it, was a Latin paella!!

We couldn’t have been happier with the views, service and food! Sunset was the perfect time to dine on the patio. The steaks were amazing, salty, and cooked well. I will get medium next time instead of medium rare, but the meat was delicious. They treated my wife to ice cream desert for her birthday. The view was breathtaking, honestly amazing!

Amazing venue, and servers were excellent. Unfortunately the food (very expensive) was not aligned with the prices. Not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, just average flavors/quality overall. Shared appetizers were the highlights (excellent empanadas and yucca fries) and 1 of the 3 entree’s was very good (chicken) whereas the other 2 were mediocre. Perhaps just an off night for kitchen? I’d give it another try.

We went to Sedona for my birthday trip and we decided to walk in at this restaurant. We were not able to get a reservation online since all the time slots are full. We were very happy that they were able to squeeze us at the bar despite the fact that they were super busy . I’m glad that we got to taste their food . When we arrived at the area , we were able to see the magical sunset view. The spot was perfect when you really want to have a good view .

Recommended by a colleague, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The breathtaking red rock views from floor-to-ceiling windows paired perfectly with refreshing Sangrias. I enjoyed the fresh and flavorful Green Goddess salad, and the service was top-notch. Awesome location. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience!

Magnificent view, beautiful ambience, food was good with the exception of coleslaw that accompanied the burger. Coleslaw was a big disappointment, no flavor I can only taste the cabbage and parsley! I would give a 5 star if the coleslaw wasn’t such a disappointment. It might be the restaurant is famous, little details isn’t going to affect the reputation.

A nearly flawless dining experience. Beautiful location with great ambience. Excellent service. Delicious cocktails and wonderful food. Our favorite dishes were the yuca fries and the mussels. This is a “must do” if you’re visiting Sedona!

What a fabulous restaurant to celebrate a special occasion! The dining experience was exquisite. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! We ordered the pulpo parrilla for our starter. This was followed by the pescado paradiso for my youngest daughter and the skirt steak for my oldest daughter. I ordered the veggie nirvana for my entree. Everything was spectacular! Although the dinner was a bit pricey, it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this beautiful restaurant with amazing views!

My wife and I went to Mariposa on July 23rd. We had some of their traditional dishes including the empanadas, octopus, seafood medley, lobster potatoes and one of their special salads.. food was awesome, little rich for me at times, but for the most part some of the best we have had in Sedona for sure. Only issue with Mariposa is pricing.. it is expensive so be prepared.
