Fans of the beloved food truck will find items they’re familiar with, like empanadas and pan con chicharrón along with new dishes. Most notably, they’ve added Peruvian rotisserie chicken, which customers often ask for at the food trucks. “My brother has done a tremendous job mimicking the same flavor that we had in Peru,” Giuseppe Lanzone says. There will also be yucca fries, sauteed veggies, quinoa salad, and—courtesy of their new liquor license—alcoholic beverages, including a slushy pisco sour.
“We’re very excited to keep expanding our work and keep sharing our culture with everybody else. That’s the main thing, that’s why we do this. Lanzone says. – DCist

Hear hear to Andrés for being such a good sport. He let me take a photo of his t-shirt. He turned around and modeled. I think it’s hilarious and witty. My pork sandwich was pretty good. The chicha morada, a Peruvian drink based on purple corn, was oh my dios, one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Ever. If not *the best. He also let me sample it.

We were pretty surprised to see picaronas on the menu since there were not many Peruvian restaurant having it nearby. Picarones was served hot and freshly made – we liked it. The pan con chicharrón was not bad, but it’s not the authentic Peruvian style that we liked, and we also feel that there needs to be more salsa criolla (i.e. onion side salad) in the sandwich to make it juicer and less dry. Overall, it’s a nice neighborhood eatery. (For more fun stuff, follow me on IG ➡️ miss_dawang)

I visited there over the weekend. My friend had an empanada and I had yucca fries. Friend liked the empanada, but my yucca fries were on the dry side.

Do not order the vegetarian sandwich unless you’re looking for the blandest thing to eat in the entire market. Despite being listed with all the other sandwiches under the heading “made with freshly baked bread” it is not made with freshly baked bread it is made with sandwich bread you would buy at any grocery store. Also the egg is hard boiled and there’s nothing interesting about the fillings and there’s nothing really Peruvian about it. The description needs to be more accurate.

I love everything about this place and this location! Lots of space for social distancing, high ceilings, sanitizer stations everywhere, and all employees are in masks. Indoor and outdoor seating available for La Cosecha.

So so so delisioso! Got a Chicharrón sandwich and a beef empanada. Quick service and there was even a cute and very large llama to keep me company while I waited. As a part of La Cosecha, a portion of every purchase goes towards TECHO, an organization present in 19 Latin American countries seeking to end poverty for millions!

Find a better ceviche…..you wont, they use red snapper, everybody else uses cheap dirt tasting tilapia…Even though they voted for the blue socialistas in their gucci and prada like univision told them too, we all make bad mistakes in our lives to our wallet. However, you will not find better tasting chicken, yuca, sandwiches ANYWHERE HERE IN THE DC REGION…..

Tried Peruvian brothers for the first time and loved it! Ordered the ceviche, chicken empanadas and alfajores and was given a buzzer so I didn’t have to stand around and wait. Everything I ordered was delicious. Would definitely come back and try other menu items
