Love this little place! Food and service are excellent. Not much of a drink selection (canned/bottled sodas & iced teas; there were some beer in their fridge), but that didn’t both us one bit. The Inka Chicken was moist delicious and went well with the yuca and fried plantains. The Ropa Vieja was just as delicious and partnered perfectly with the rice, black beans and also came with the fried plantains. Food servings were very generous. We were full but we really wanted to try their Bananas Tres Leches and their Alfajores – – we were so happy we did! The tres leches wasn’t too banana-ey, which was great for me. We can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes!

This is carryout from ordering online with Door Dash. (hint to all restaurants, get online, I like to read the menus and the ease of communication) I’d been wanting to try The Nibbler for years. I was not disappointed. I got 1/4 dark meat chicken plus, plantains and yucca. Oh yes, flan. Big delicious flan done well. The prices are still very reasonable. If I come again I’ll try the steaks. Very humble little restaurant (from what I could see) the chicken was charcoal grilled. Large pieces of chicken too. No tiny chickens here. Did I mention their green sauce? I came in and didn’t see rotisserie chicken. I said that there wasn’t rotisserie chicken so i didn’t want to stay, but my girlfriend found it and pointed it out to me on the menu. The entire conversation took place directly in front of the waitress who took our drink order and immediately after opening our drinks said there was no rotisserie chicken available. For a Peruvian restaurant not to have it available is ridiculous, but to knowingly hide the fact until after opening our drinks was nearly criminal. Never trust this place.

My wife and I ordered food for pickup. We had a lomo saltado, ají de gallina, the calamari, empanadas de pollo and some alfajores. We were delighted with the food, the way it was packaged and most importantly- the way it tasted. We will come back for more, delicious Peruvian food!

I had the Carapulcra, and it wasn’t terrible, but it was kind of bland and it wasn’t cooked traditionally. It’s a difficult dish to make around here, so I was surprised they even had it. My husband had the steak sandwich and he liked it. The place is cute and it has a nice mural.
