I have not been in this restaurant since it changed the name. The place was clean and neat. We went here early – 10ish in the morning so they are still prepping and putting out most of the food. I always go for the ox tails with extra gravy in any Jamaican restaurant I go to and my daughter goes for Jamaican patty. The ox tails was good, no complaints. My daughter said the beef patty was in the ”good” category as well. I usually rate the cleanliness of the bathroom but in this case we didn’t use it on this visit. Not sure if they even have one for guests. Overall, the employee greeted us, he was friendly. He didn’t have any issues about giving me extra gravy. They take credit cards, not sure if there is a minimum. The transaction was easy, and fast. Will update when we come back but so far, everything is good.

It is a small place for takeout. I really like that I can see the food before I order. I got a good helping of rice and delicious stew chicken my daughter got fried and my husband got curry chicken. The food was tasty, next time I will get a large so I get more meat. Really it’s a great value for the price.

Food is soo good that’s why I came back but did not expect the service I got. The man that took care of the customers while I was in there said little to nothing and when he did they were rude cold responses. I asked for the rest of the cabbage in their container and he told me there is none when there was more than enough for one portion. It just threw me off and made me feel stupid.

I was gonna offer the lady that served me my food after I paid for it because the only excuse she could have had for throwing my food in the box the way she did ( very sloppy) was because she was hungry and mad – no customer service and just unpleasant and no pride in presentation as a Jamaican from out of town I would never support them again!
