I was craving Pho and this place was the first place that came up when I search for it. I am VERY glad it did because I am extremely impressed with how amazing their Pho is!! Absolutely amazing and plan to return everytime we come to town! The staff were also very nice and friendly as well!!! The only reason I gave three stars on the atmosphere is because it was a little to warm for me in the restaurant. Also, when you first walk in there is a mild cigar smell to the building. After asking our waiter about it he explained that the smell was due to the neighboring business called Just for him. Apparently customers heavily smoke cigars and cigarettes at just for him and since each business is in the same building, the smoke travels through the vent system causing the businesses next to them to be affected. However, it was not bad enough to effect our experience. Definitely worth trying!!!

we come from years of Pho eating on the West Coast. we have tried a few places in town. this place offers the best so far for us. the spring rolls are amazing with both beef and shrimp and the peanut sauce is very well made. they provide the right amount of side herbs for the Pho. I did taste the broth to be on the salty side as each bite I took thats what came to my mind. My real dislikes are the fact the portions are so huge. One person can hardly eat an enormous bowl and they only offer one enormous size. which leads to left over food wasted because most people don’t take the soup home afterwards. Prices, well to compare about 2 years ago the cost for Pho and Springrolls for two people would cost less than $25. but now you pay $40 for the same, except much is wasted here because its too large. They need to offer a normal size bowl. And then of course the smoke filled the restaurant like many other reviews mentioned but after a few minutes we didn’t even notice it. Very cute and spacious inside. Typical Vietnamese decor. Two servers were kind and attentive. We are hoping to try more from the menu here when we can. We also just had water.

I had egg rolls which looked burned and old but were barely warm. The server took them back and I thought I was getting fresh ones but nothing arrived. Later he said I took half off the egg rolls. What!! The cabbage salad was good. The overwhelming smell of smoke was disgusting and my clothes smelled until I could get them in the wash. I will not return.

Love the food here, the pho, spring rolls, and rice are amazing. We always get pick up. Would love to eat there but everytime we have gone to pick up the AC has been broken and it’s been over 100 degrees in there. I wouldn’t be able to have hot soup in that hot of a room. Once they fix it I’d happily start eating there!! Food is amazing and prices are good!

I’ve given this place a few chances now and every time they disappoint. I’m willing to look past most things if the food is good. The food here is not only lacking in flavor but two out of the three times I’ve been here the food was literally rancid. First time it was the soup I had to spit out because the meat was sour. The third time, which was the worst of our experience, they gave us toppings for our bahn mi sandwich that had mold on it. I would not recommend this place.

The food is always delicious at Bambu! The environment inside was difficult to tolerate last night. With family in town for a visit, we went around 5pm for an early dinner. The temperature inside must have been in the upper 90s and my infant became an uncomfortable sweaty mess within a short while and we had to take her walking around outside to cool off! Needless to say, we ate what we could before prematurely packing up our dinner for take away.
