We are a locally owned and operated Food Truck. I used to own When Pigs Fly of Ashe BBQ &Wings and have downsized to the food truck. Smoker is on site. Tables for service,when available. We move around a lot but you can always find us at kristinshookdonsmoke (dot com )for the fresh, daily menu and our location. We do call in orders and to go. Or you can sit at one of our outdoor tables. Hope to feed y’all soon. Woman owned and operated !! My food has won Best Wings, Burgers, Lunch, Dinner, Home cooking and others since 2013. We’ve been customers of Kristin’s for about 5 months, and are locals. The food is always impeccably delicious and cooked perfectly. I am a huge fan of the brisket when it’s available, and her burgers are simply the best around here, anyway. Paired with any number of mouth watering sides you have a great meal. And let’s not forget about her bourbon meatloaf available by the pound or as a plate or sandwich. The delicious unique twist on an American classic.

Second year coming to West Jefferson and I made a point of stopping to see Kristin and loading up on her great food. This year we got brisket which was delicious, brussel sprouts and the hot chips. All of it was very delicious. Nice big portions. I think she really enjoys making this good food and that is why it is special.

Absolutely phenomenal food!! Best BBQ I have tasted in a while. The pork sandwich and chicken sandwich were really flavorful. Her corn fritters, Mac n cheese and loaded potato salad were perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. Will try the brussel sprouts next visit.
