Eugusi soup AND Fufu was gross, meat was uncooked but smelled horrendous (old and burnt aroma) only ate 2 bites had to throw all of it away wasted $37.50 on a disappointment I’ve had Eugusi many times before and it NEVER smelled or tasted this way should have read more reviews because someone else had the SAME experience as I did, I had to take the entire meal outside to the outside trash to keep the smell from seeping through the house….if I could give no stars I would, take my mistake as a lesson and go elsewhere…..

The Spicy Peri Peri Chicken is BY FAR the best grilled chicken dish I’ve ever had in my life. It puts American dishes to shame. Amazing flavor in every bite and portions are huge! Try it once ans you’ll be back.

This place was great. Seemed to be more takeaway oriented but there was plenty of seating. We had a stew with some really amazing fufu and the red jollof rice with fish. The fish was served with the bones, which I prefer, but if you’re not used to navigating the fish just be aware. We thought it was amazing though and wow I could not stop eating the rice it was so good! The portions are huge so order accordingly or plan on bringing leftovers home. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in Louisville.

Mashallah African Restaurant did a wonderful job catering for my walima/reception last year. Portions were great, price was very reasonable, delivery was on time and food was AMAZING! We received so many compliments and inquiries about where we ordered our food. Even the pickiest eaters at our celebration were impressed by the flavors.

Don’t let the outside fool you!!! From the first bite I couldn’t stop telling my husband how amazing the food was! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked so tenderly! I had the lamb special and my husband had the grilled lamb. Both were fantastic! The service was wonderful and did I mention the food??? It was delicious!!! Try the coconut milk drink! With four flavors, you’re sure to find one you will enjoy! The portions were so generous, my husband and I could have shared a meal! The prices were so low for the amount of food they served! Don’t miss out on trying this restaurant! You won’t regret it!

Good African food, nice and friendly atmosphere. The jollof with lamb was delicious. Receptionist could be more friendly, but overall it was a good experience.

Terrible service and too many mishaps, especially when you been going to the same restaurant for quite some time, they had the audacity to charge me an extra fee for an order they messed up. Very untrustworthy customer service. Also too it makes me no longer wanting to trust the food if you speak one way in front of me but another language behind closed doors when being sarcastic.
