Sweetgrass has it all. The food is always fresh and delicious, the employees and owner are lovely, and sitting outside on the patio under the trees is magic. The coffee is top notch with a beautiful espresso machine from Italy. They also have several gluten free options. My favorite breakfast, lunch, or coffee spot in Paonia.

I loved everything about Sweetgrass cafe. The latte was amazing as well as the brownie. The Hal sandwich accompanied with homemade potato chips was so delicious. Friendly staff, charming indoor spaces and a relaxing patio dining area. Upstairs rooms are available to rent.

I’ve eaten at Sweetgrass many times, and I’m never disappointed! The menu is fairly simple with many interesting, enchanting flavors! I’m also a pick espresso drinker, and the coffee is always spot on to my liking- it’s hard not to drink several when I dine in.
