The food was probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, the service was incredible and kind, the tables are unique and very cool. If I didn’t look on maps, and bug my dad to go, we would have missed out. I will come back if I’m ever in the area again! God bless this place!

We came down from Kansas City for a softball tournament. We had heard great things about them and we’re not disappointed. The food was amazing and the family SO friendly and genuinely appreciative of our business. They made us feel so welcome. I will definitely be back. If you are looking for a great little place to enjoy fantastic street tacos, then Taco Boy is your place. Great value for the money, great atmosphere, and delcious, authentic street tacos. Located in a former service station, there is inside and outside seating (along with occasional concerts). Be sure and plan a trip to enjoy some of the best street tacos in the region!

Taco Boy is everything you may have heard and more. The owner and staff are amazing. You can’t find better customer service. When you become a regular, you are recognized immediately. They are family-owned and make it a point to let you know how much they appreciate your business and treat you like you’re the only customer there, truly showing their appreciation. I’ve tried multiple different meals and haven’t been disappointed by a single one yet. Everything is made from scratch and better quality than anything you can find at any other Mexican food restaurant, and we’ve been to quiet a few. The queso… oh, that queso… you could drink it. It’s amazing, and if the owner sold it to take home, we would have a stockpile of it. Business has picked up for them with the good word from Puddin, but that hasn’t changed them at all. I can see them having to expand to add more room for seating soon, which is great. It is worth the price and drive & we will continue to come back and support Taco Boy. Long live Taco Boy!!!

I was in there a couple weeks ago and had the carnitas. The food and service were both excellent. If you’re on I-40 passing Shawnee and want some great Mexican food at very reasonable prices this is the place. I don’t think it was more than 10 min from the interstate and very worth it. The queso dip was excellent, the carnitas were as good as any I’ve had. I lived on the Mexican border in Texas and Arizona for years, I’ve eaten a lot of carnitas tacos, these people know their business.

This place may be small, but the service and food are amazing. My wife and I immediately felt welcomed as if we were long-time friends. The food comes in large portions, is fresh, and has bold flavor. If you want a small place with wonderful food and a welcoming family atmosphere, we highly recommend Taco Boy.

The Leo the owner greeted us, blessed us and our family. Best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Food was top notch. I had the beef fajita taco’s and hubby had the burrito. Both were big portions we could have shared our plates and still been full. Highly recommend Taco Boy, you will definitely be back for authentic Mexican food!!
